I'm confused

I haven't been on here in a while, and I pop on every so often to read what's going on; so what's going on? I'm reading a lot of information about The Sims 4, and i'm confused to be frank. We will have loading screen going to community lots? Which we don't in The Sims 3 because the key selling point was an "open and seamless world" (i'm not being negative, just trying to figure out what's going on). What else is reverting back to The Sims 2? I know that we aren't going to have pools or toddlers...which I know has gotten a lot of negativity (they've been in production for 7+ years with this game and they cut that out?). Just clear things up for me...I don't know what has or hasn't been confirmed.

What has been confirmed about this game? The good and the bad.

ehhh... This is going to take longer than a little post... Basically take the base game of sims 3, cut it in half package it... You have the sims 4.

Thanks for the post. I know how to search the forum...it's much easier to have all of the information at hand instead of picking through the forum.
