I'm finally all caught up with this thread. I had to use my daughter's computer for a few days, and she's got an ad-blocker on her Firefox, so I'm glad that I can get ads again. And now I can stalk the stalker's thread again.

Is anyone else getting a crazy amount of ads today? I forgot to check what number I started at, but I'm pretty sure Ive gotten around 400 sp today. After they stopped on my computer I went on my phone and they just kept going. It feels like a glitch, though I'm not complaining of course!

An interesting tidbit: As I was monitoring the spreadsheet tonight I took the time to go through my own personal list of stuff I do not yet own. In several places my % owned had not changed, but my CYS price had dropped (in one case, more than 100 sp). Maybe they fixed some of those CYS problems people were noticing last week where they weren't getting as much off as they should? I don't know. I'm just happy my price is lower.
And I had a blue download button for Spy Glass Bathroom even though I don't own it. I think I remember someone mentioning something about that...

How do you put food dishes in your sims inventory? I haven't figured that out yet to complete opportunities or to bake stuff at home and then go to my bakery and add the stuff to the shelves to sell.
I haven't used the bakery yet but whenever I have had cookery opportunities I just drag the plate from the counter onto the appropriate Sim which puts it in their personal inventory.
I think you do the same thing with some other opportunities, such as repairing items ...
You're welcome, and perhaps I should mention that, as I recall, food goes off much quicker if it's in your inventory rather than a fridge. So if it's going to take more than one cooking task you might want to put the first batch into the fridge while you're preparing the second, just to give you a little extra time to deliver the goodies.
You can drag items from an 'open' fridge to your Sim when you want them to take foodstuffs out of the house.
Another thing to note, don't have your Sim walk off the lot hungry, if he's got stuff in his inventory that you need for an opportunity. He WILL eat it if he's hungry! (Happened to me before.)

I am now a bit angry with T-mobile for making me sit through an 8 minute ad when Kellog's gives me the same amount of points for a 30 second one.
I also spent Sunday building, @mulder8486. That's a lot more fun with a decent amount of content. The sim in your profile pic is beautiful @Vandergant. I should maybe start downloading some sims. I made exactly one sims since I got the game, and I hardly played her.

Umm... just how many times is the dd list going to repeat. Been taking a break from the sims the last couple days and expected to see a new list. Is this list going to go on forever?

No problem. All of us are asking this as well. We really don't know. We were told back in August by SimGuruTaterTot that the list would be changing "next week". That hasn't happened. From that point she was completely silent on the internet until last week when she popped up on Twitter. We were wondering if she was gone for good. It appears she is not. However, she hasn't answered anyone's questions about the list so far as I know. This may be a forever list, or it may disappear and be replaced overnight.

Anyone know how you figure out your price for a set that's coming up on the DD but it also on sale? The set page just tells me my price with just the sale or CYS and sale but not CYS alone to put on the calculator.
You can do the math to get your regular CYS price, if the sales CYS is done in the same way. The formula should be Sales Price*0,9 - (Regular Price*0,9-your CYS)= your price shown on the sales page. Your CYS is your variable now.
So how do I switch around the formula so my CYS price is on the other side of the equal signs or whatever? Like what exactly would I plug into the calculator? I'm really awful at math. I always use the spreadsheet to figure out my CYS so I don't have to do any math myself.
ETA: Don't worry about it, I'll just stay up and see what it is when the set goes on sale. Hopefully the chair doesn't take much longer than last time.
That should be CYS=Sales Price*0,9+Regular Price*0,9-your current price. I can do the math for you, if you tell me which set and your current price.
ETA: Also this is only true, if the sales prices are treated the same as DD prices for stacking discounts. I don't know for sure, if that is the case. But I just tested the numbers with the Everyday Teens Collection and my price and that looked like the CYS I remembered.
ETA again: I just combined both formulas and the discount is actually the same. So it's really easy. You can use your calculator the same as you did before. Just put the sale price instead of the full price and your current price instead of your CYS.
