Curfew in The Sims 4

In TS3, Curfew was and still is a very flawed feature, considering the existence of an "omniscient" police force that knew where your child or teenage sim/sims was/were.
While I know that in the U.S.A. there are various locations that have curfew laws enacted, there are several others that don't.
Many other countries also don't have curfew laws, and in those that have them, they are softened. The way curfew is implemented in TS3, makes it look like the Sim Nation is a police state, or that it is at war.
I seriously hope that thay don't implement this in TS4, and if they do, at least don't make it seem as if there are hidden cameras everywere or reduce the psychic powers that the police force has.
