Not sure my expansion is installed, need help

I have installed and uninstalled this expansion, but it does not show up on My Page as a game that is installed/registered (even though I have registered the game). It is also not acknowledged as an expansion that is installed on my game launcher window. Is there a way i can verify that the 'stuff' is installed in my game? I am not prompted to use that disc to load the game either. It asks for the disc of the expansion that was installed just previous to the KP expansion.

There is no Katy Perry expansion pack. KPST is a stuff pack.

I'm trying to figure out if you are confusing this with the Showtime expansion pack (which does show on your page as being installed).

You start your game with the most recent release, regardless of what order you installed them. According to what shows as installed on your page, that should be Showtime.
Sometimes, the icons aren't showing as they should be, but that would be an issue with the website, not your game itself. Do you have anything else installed that is still greyed-out on your list?

I have the KP showtime expansion pack. That is what the CD case shows. The disc that is used (asked for) to launch the game is Seasons. I am not able to register Seasons because the person I bought it from apparently used the code to register it but doesn't remember actually doing so. I was always under the impression you launch the game with the most recent installed expansion.

Ahh. Then it sounds like you start your game with Seasons. If you install anything else that came out before Seasons, you will still use Seasons to start the game.

If you install any of the following you would start your game with them:
    70s, 80s & 90s Stuff
    University Life
    Island Paradise
    Movie Stuff
    Into the Future
(in that order - Into the Future will always start your game even if you install it next and get the others later).

You bought the Katy Perry edition of Showtime. It has a code for an additional Katy Perry inspired set. Those items won't be in your game until you enter that secondary code here on the site.

Thank you Anmirla for answering my questions.... but here's another for you, out of curiosity, since Showtime is lit up as a registered game, is it pointless for me to buy that EP?

I'm sorry, I'm trying to follow what you are asking.

    Hopefully this will work...
does your case look like this?
    71087_LB_231_%5E_2013-01-18-16-18-03_e8f90780d48ca22d65e0ef76a9111ddb0bf376eb29bb32ae9cc5239e8fa024b1.jpg
There were three versions of Showtime: the regular one that is in the pic above, the Limited Edition in which you got a code for the venue/stage and the Katy Perry edition.
I suspect you have the one I do though. It's the Collector's Edition The Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry and has Katy Perry in a silver dress bending over and a Sim of her in the lower right corner. This is a Showtime expansion pack. EA doesn't sell this version anymore.
The only difference is the Collector's Edition has a flyer inside that with the code for the Katy Perry themed content on one side and the code for the limited edition venue and stage on the other side. What's on the disk is the same as the other editions - there is no Katy Perry things in the expansion pack itself (only the few items you download with that extra code).

I can't try to post an image of KPST from the product info page because EA stopped selling KPST months ago. Apparently the contract expired and only retailers that haven't sold their copies will still have it.
When I first read your question, I looked up Target, Best Buy and Walmart online and they no longer carry it either.

*edited a few times trying to make sure you could follow what I was saying

I have an old picture of the Katy Perry Edition. It came with the content on the right, two (useless but cute) guitar picks and a couple of extra items.

This edition of Showtime has a picture of Katy in silver dress, with pink hair:

The Stuff Pack has a different picture of Katy Perry, in a blue dress with blue hair:

Katy perry sweet treats stuff pack and special Katy Perry Showtime expansion edition are two different things.

There is no Katy Perry expansion. But there is Showtime expansion.

Katy perry Showtime expansion editions is the same as Showtime expansion ( it only has code for TS3 store to get few KP inspired items ).

So your Showtime expansion is registered.
