Each of the creations are lovely! Very nice sims households! The two modern homes and the four townhouses build are very nice! Very nice exterior designs of them! The interior furnishings, layout and colour schemes are lovely! It is very nice that each home in Creme Brûlée Strip has its own colour scheme.
Back in May, I built Sunny Side Up for @Kgaff. She was my buddy in the aMAYzing gift exchange. As much as I loved the exterior, the interior was another story. The walls met up at such odd angles, the rooms were so small and it didn't help matters that the mansard roof was preventing me from placing the stairs in ANY good location. My frustration was so high, I had to step away from it. Despite all the headaches, I uploaded the home for Kgaff, anyway, because I knew that she would love it, even with its faults. If nothing else, it was a good decoration for sunny neighborhoods like Sunset Vally, Isla Paradiso and Sunlit Tides. Still, I imagined that eventually I would dive back into it and decorate the home as intended. Yesterday, I did just that and, today, I show you the results.
I made a few cosmetic changes to the front and back exterior of the home. Nothing major, but, in my opinion, much better.
1.The driveway now sits at an angle, added shrubbery beside it.
2. Fencing on the left hand side is closer to the house to prevent neighbors from going into pool. Before, the fountain blocked that access.
3. Added an additional tree to the right by the tree house. Removed palm tree to the left. Added an additional palm to the left corner. Added yellow flowers on right corner
4. Added lounge chairs with umbrellas by the pool
5. Added sandbox by the treehouse
6. Added flower boxes to most of the windows
7. This lot has a car, now! Before:After:

Now that we've got that out of the way. I made TWO VERSIONS.
The new edition of Sunny Side Up is lovely! The changes that you have to the exterior areas looks very nice. Very lovely furnishing of the interior! The furnishings used, room designs, the style of the home and the colour schemes of the rooms and wall pattens/ textures are very nice!
@60smusicluvr I'm happy to see you pulled out this build again. I loved the original, and this roomier version looks even nicer. It's nice to see it furnished now, too. I especially like your big eat-in-kitchen and the natural stone floor in the bath. The bonus room in the attic is nice. Laughing that you're making your sims haul their laundry up and down that ladder.
It's a beautiful build and now that you enlarged it I'm going to get both new versions! I did decorate the original home and had to change the doors in the kitchen area to make space for a stair. I did it and it came out very well, One of these days I'll take some pics and post them.
I love the new version, love the parking space and the larger rooms are gorgeous. Your furnishings look great and I love that you left most of the yard the same.
I would love to see your pictures, @kgaff. I'm glad you were still able to make it work despite the awkward room sizes. I think the new versions car space looks a lot better and overall its a lot better, but stays true to what it was before.
@60smusicluvr , Sunny Side Up is such an adorable home and I love the looks of it. The changes you made look great, although the first version is did is equally cute. I love the roofing pieces you added to the 1st floor roof, gives it a cute detail. Funny, I have a home in my studio called Sunnyside Up Beach Home (attaching a pic in the spoiler).
@kgaff, I'm impressed you found a place for the stairs that makes sense. The rooms look adorable. I like the moo'd coffee table you created and I'm going to have to search for that table with the mosaic in the dining room.
Very lovely WIP! The exterior design is very nice! The bridge and lake is great! Very nice landscaping and great terrain work! The festive wreaths are a nice touch, and very nice windows used. Very pretty Winter screenshot!
@60smusicluvr , oh my goodness, this lot looks amazing and has such great architecture! I too see the roller coaster track. What's it going to be on the inside? Inquiring minds want to know! lol
@rosemow@soocoolsim@Jessabeans@Sandraelle, thank you for the lovely comments on this WIP. I am still working on what to do with the inside. It's definitely a more outdoorsy community lot for sure with fun winter activities and such. So far on the inside, ive just got a couple festive rooms with nothing to do but admire the surroundings and sit.

You could have a cozy lounge with a fireplace for sims to warm up after they've been cold outside. Or a cafe to get some warm drinks? It looks great, whatever it turns into.

Here are some pictures I took as I was decorating. I had to dig around for these, as you can tell I wasn't finished when these were taken.
The only change I made was the kitchen doors. I took out the double doors and put in single doors to make space for extra cabinets.
I also added stairs to the third level and put all the alchemy stuff up there.
