    So many serious contests going on around here - classy fashions needed, stylish houses wanted. Well, you know what you all really need? A tacky house contest. You heard right, it's time to put on your hot pink leopard-print thinking hats and get crackin'!

    You see, one day my dear Arica and I found ourselves moaning about life like cranky old ladies, which prompted us to create perfect sim versions of those very cranky old ladies. We figured that in our senile state we would most likely wear atrocious clothes and terrorize the locals with our inappropriateness.

    Meet Princess Jools and Queen Aye! The gruesome twosome are looking for a new crib and this is where you come in. Help the grannies out by creating the tackiest abode possible.

    How? The house style, size and layout is entirely up to you. You are free to reference the ladies' outfits, traits and likes in the interior, or create an entirely unique representation.

    About the ladies:

    Don't let your eyes deceive you. We may look frail and delicate but we sure can party like none other. We are two spunky young-at-heart hot mommas who are looking to buy a large crib to throw the biggest ragers. A pool as well as some sort of entertainment area are a must for us! Luckily our old geezer husbands kicked the bucket a long time ago, leaving us more than enough cash to splash on our dream home.

      Rules
      1. Your lot can be built in any EA world
      2. Maximum lot size is 30x30
      3. No budget - go crazy!
      4. There must be at least 2 bedrooms; 1 for each granny that represents them
      5. There must be an entertainment/party area
      6. There must be a pool
      7. You must use 20 party flamingos (Shocking Pink Flamingo - 2nd Edition) throughout the build
      8. The ladies' preferred items are optional, but bonus points will be awarded for each item used (see below for items)- if you choose to include these, they can be recolored
      9. All EPs and SPs are allowed
      10. All Store content is allowed
      11. No CC, CAP, or Mods
      12. All commonly used building cheats are allowed; this includes buydebug, MOO, and CFE
      13. Entries must be new (not uploaded before 21/04/14)
      14. Please use the entry form provided
      15. Please name your lot in game and edit the description before uploading

      *You must enter a description in Edit Town Mode before you upload*

      **Name your lot and include descriptions in your upload. A bunch of downloads that just say "Lot Name" makes it difficult (if not impossible if there are many of them) to identify them. This delays judging by days or weeks, as we try to figure out which "Lot Name" belongs to which entrant, requiring going in and back out of the game and re-visiting the contest thread to see if the pics "match" the in-game lot.

      While they may show up in your studio or on the exchange with your descriptions and name that are given at the time you upload, if you don't put it in the edit function of the lot while you are in edit town before you upload, it will not be there when we download to our games. I hope this helps those who were unaware of this.**

      Judging Criteria
      10 points: Interior
      10 points: Landscaping
      5 points: Overall design
      5 points: Functionality (no routing issues)
      5 points: Followed obligatory rules/filled in entry form appropriately
      10 points: Wow factor
      6 points: Incorporated special items on the lot (1 point per item)
      10 points: Used 20 flamingos on the lot

      Q: Can we upload to other outlets besides the Exchange?
      A: Unfortunately, we will only accept houses that are uploaded to the Exchange.

      May 11th:
      Q: Can I have a Plumbot on the lot for you?
      A: We would like the houses to be uploaded as lots only without households included.

      I'm in Exam Period right now, and with the Gift Exchange and FM, competitions are on hold, but IF and only IF I have time, I really wanna give this a go :lol: I know it excites Arica to do so, so if you want you can put me on as interested :thumbup: NO strings, lol! Love the idea :)
