GLEN HARBOR LEGACY:INTRODUCTION

This story is being played in Rflong7's Glenvale County edited for the legacy to fit the 1660's time period of my legacy.
Here's the town of Glen Harbor in Maryland where some Russian immigrants looking to escape from a famine in their homeland ended up settling in back in 1660.The first thing they would see on arrival would be the local beach.
They would have to walk from the beach where they got washed up on shore after the shipwreck got them stranded.They would find a nice empty lot to use for their home and have to start building their own house.The lot is ready for the taking when they've arrived.
Here's the place where the shipwrecked Russian immigrants ended up settling down and making a home for themselves.They were part of a small group of survivors from the shipwreck.
Their next destination would be Town Hall where they register as new settlers and become registered as residents.
The next stop for these new immigrants would be the local library to start learning their skills and learning the gardening basics.
The town added a park with a gazebo for the locals to enjoy with the gazebo providing shelter when it decides to rain.
There's also a small community garden where more garden produce can get harvested when they got good enough to be able to harvest very quickly.

Eli Jankowsky was born in Russia in the winter of 1647 and grew up with a boy know as Ami Bronski who was her best friend.They got married in an arranged marriage which was mostly arranged by them as kids and they went through with it in 1657 in the spring.
Ami Bronski was born in the early spring of 1648 and became Ami Jankowsky when he got married to Eli.They both arranged to get married because they were such close friends and didn't want to get seperated.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky both left Russia to escape from a terrible famine which caused everybody to starve and they were looking for a better life without starving to death and being unable to have a family.They left Russia in 1658 and tried to settle in Denmark,but times were tough there because it was very overcrowded there and housing was hard to come by so they left in the spring of 1660 to head for the new colonies on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.Their sailing ship got caught in a storm at sea and got wrecked just off the coast of where a new town called Glen Harbor was about to be founded.It was the first day of summer when they got washed up on shore and would have to settle and start the town of Glen Harbor.
Eli got herself in the right outerwear for the summer season.
Ami got some new summer suited outerwear to use and their other outfits got fixed.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky both decided to lay a claim on that large empty lot they found near the Glen Harbor trading post as their new home and start turning it into a new town settlement.It was the first day of the summer in the year of 1660 when they arrived on the shores there after being shipwrecked.They were grateful to at least have a lot and be able to look foreward to building a house once they could afford it.
They quickly realized their first move would be to get to the library and start studying gardening before they started going broke and had run out of money.This was to be the start of their new lives in the new continent and in a new settlement.
Eli was aware that she was no longer in Russia and not even in Europe anymore when she got to Garden House and started harvesting the produce to sell it to the grocery stall at Garden Market later.Ami got on his way to a smaller community garden to start harvesting from that garden before that had to quit for the evening and get cleaned up so they could get to Garden Market to sell their produce and make some money.
Ami enjoyed working in that garden though he couldn't get much done there because it was so far from their home.They ended up eating dinner after getting cleaned up and making the sales on their produce before the went to bed right there at Garden Market.
They were finding it too late to get back home when they decided to crash there.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky both got up to find themselves at Garden Market and they had to get ready for the day and be careful to not try to get food from the diner stall downstairs until they made more money.They both had showers and ate breakfast from the fridge instead of going to the diner to eat.
Ami went out to the garden to start working on getting the produce harvested quickly before it started getting too late in the day while Eli would have to make her way to Garden House to start working on harvesting produce from that garden for selling to the grocery stall at Garden Market.
Eli was already busy working very hard on getting the produce harvested before it got very late because they wanted to have enough money to buy the framing and drywall for building their house.
They finished up in the gardens and got through the washroom business and ate dinner before selling their produce to the grocery stall at Garden Market.They went to their lot and got into their sleeping bags and went to sleep by 8PM.
An alien decided to pay their lot a visit at 8:30 and left after doing a quick scan around the lot.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky both got up very early in the morning on their lot and had to rush to Garden House to get themselves ready for the new day before it got to be very late.They were both feeling grateful to have survived that terrible shipwreck and the dangerous voyage on that wooden sailing ship to get to the new colonies.
They both ended up having their showers and eating breakfast at Garden House before Ami headed for Garden Market to start working on the garden there while Eli would work with Garden House.
Eli got into the garden and started harvesting the produce right away while Ami had to get to Garden Market first.
Ami finally got started on harvesting produce from his work area and got it ready to sell it at the grocery stall later.
Eli got done and got herself over to Garden Market once she was done with the harvesting and showering.They both made 1100$ from the sale of their produce like they did every other day.They were about to head back to their lot to sleep there when Eli suddenly realized she had the flu and went to their lot just to check on things while Ami went to bed and Eli got back quickly and got into bed herself.
They were both falling asleep by 8:30 in the evening and were grateful for safe places for a sick person to sleep.
Eli and Ami got up early that morning and the Garden Market lot got some broken plumbing fixtures repaired during the night while they were sleeping.They were going to be grateful for the repairs because the kitchen sink at Garden House was about to break on them.
They both sat down to eat breakfast and were about to clean up the dishes when it happened to them.The kitchen sink broke and started spraying water everywhere on the floor and making a huge mess.They would have to learn the basics of home repairs to fix the broken sink.Eli worked on learning the skill and went to work on repairing the sink while Ami continued studying to learn more about the repairs.Ami also fond himself coming down with the flu and had to spend his time studying.Eli got a little harvesting done and sold the produce she was able to harvest.
They both enjoyed more studying though Eli was improving gardening skill and Ami decided to work on gardening so he would be able to garden faster.
They both realized that they would have to spend the night at Garden House after Eli visited Garden Market for selling the produce.They both got into bed and went to sleep by 8PM.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky were up fairly early and got themselves ready for the day before having breakfast.Ami wasn't going to help with harvesting produce because he was sick and would have to take it easy for a few days and would spend his time learning new skills.
Ami sat on the picnic table bench with the book he wanted to read and started learning about doing repairs to broken items.He also would spend time practicing writing later while Eli was working in the garden harvesting produce.
Eli was busy harvesting produce while Ami worked on writing skill with his computer.They both spent hours at their activities and were done by late in the afternoon which meant Eli would have to visit Garden Market to sell the produce and go check on their home lot.
Eli found newspapers to clear up and bills to pay though they were very low.
She went back to Garden House to eat dinner and get ready for bed.
They both got themselves into bed by 7:30 in the evening.
Eli and Ami were both up early though Eli was still sick with the flu and had to spend her day studying to learn new skills instead of harvesting produce from the garden.Ami got to work in the garden and decided to get as much work done as he could before it got very late.
Ami was still working in the garden when Eli started working on more new skills by playing chess on her computer.
Eli and Ami both had to work on their own things which meant Eli was learning new skills and Ami was gardening all day until it was time to sell it at the grocery stall at Garden Market.
They both ended up deciding to go to bed at Garden House instead of at home because they had no house and Eli was still sick.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky woke up fairly early in Garden House and started getting ready for the new day before they'd get to work on the gardens.They both wanted to start getting their house built before fall began to set in and the weather turned cold and wet.They did have their tent though that would not be adequate for colder fall and winter weather.Eli studied for a while and Ami decided to do the same for a few hours and they would start the gardening a little later so Eli could finish recovering from her flu.
The town of Glen Harbor decided to have a statue on the town hall lot and picked one showing a great hero who'd allowed them to have somewhere for colonization to be taking place.They thought the locals in town would be impressed by the new statue and most were.
Eli went to work on the garden with the smaller plants while Ami was working with the fruit trees.They wanted to get their work done and get the produce sold so they could get enough money to start building their house.They spent hours working with the gardens and dealing with the very hot summer weather while they worked.
Eli moved on to the fruit trees in Garden House while Ami was working with the other garden plants in Garden Market.They kept going until they were finished with the harvesting in the two gardens.They weren't done until it was almost 4PM and they had to use washrooms and eat dinner before selling the produce to the grocery stall at Garden Market.
They kept on working with the harvesting and thought about the 1000$ they'd be earning from the sales of their produce and the fact that it would bring them closer to being able to start building their house.
They didn't get to selling the produce until it was almost 5:30 in the evening and they were still looking for dinner though they'd already used the washrooms.They did earn about 1000$ from the produce they'd harvested from the gardens and were getting closer to having enough to start the house building.
Eli and Ami both had dinner at Garden Market and were done by 6:30 and were ready to head home to get things cleaned up on their lot.They still planned on getting the tent to give them better sleeping conditions then the sleeping bags being used in the open.
Ami was already in his sleeping bag and asleep when Eli finally was ready to get into her own sleeping bag and get herself to sleep.They were hoping to use the tent to shelter them during the summer until they could get their house built.

Ami was ready a bit later though he wanted to get working quickly and start earning the money for the house.Eli had to stop to wash up and have something to eat after getting some harvesting done.They were planning to get out and get the work done after eating though Eli had started to work and stopped because she was hungry.
Ami went to take care of the fruit trees and got to work on harvesting the produce for sale at the grocery store.They also planned on trying to find a tent in the dumpsters if they could.It was getting very hot outside and they both wanted to have a tent for sleeping in.

They both ended up taking showers and getting cleaned up after their dumpster diving and had some lunch before they decided to play chess for a while.They played chess for a few hours and enjoyed themselves until later.It was already 5PM when they finally stopped playing chess.
Eli and Ami both stopped to eat dinner and decided to get to Garden Market to sell the produce for cash.It was starting to get dark outside at 6PM and they wanted to get the sales done and get to their lot before it got too late.
They got the produce sold and made 1000$ on the sale before they went to their lot and got things cleaned up to get to bed.They stopped to set up the tent they'd found in the dumpster and they decided to sleep in the tent.They were planning to start building their house very soon.
I had them harvesting at two community gardens and one is Garden House while the other is called Garden Market and has the grocery stall, book stall,diner,movie theature,and the spa.I did basement rabbit holes with the rugs.
Eli and Ami were both up very early that morning and wanted to get to work on the gardens before it got too late in the day.They knew that summer was almost halfway finished and wanted to get the house built before it was too late.They both stopped to get through with showers and eating breakfast before getting to work in the garden areas.

Eli got working on the fruit trees in the first garden area at Garden House because they got money from the money trees.They both kept on working right through until it was 4PM and time to get the produce sold at the grocery stall at Garden Market.They ended up having to shower and eat dinner after they sold to the store.
Their attempts to sell the produce to the grocery stall earned them 1000$ for the sale of the produce and they had enough to be able to start building the house.They were planning to get the house built very soon because it would be necessary to have more than a tent.
Ami got to their lot at 6:45 in the evening and had some cleaning up to do before they could get to bed.He picked up the trash can and the garbage on the ground.The raccoon that had knocked it over was still there.
Ami got the mess cleaned up and hoped to decided where they wanted to put their new house before starting to build it.It was already 7PM and getting very dark outside by the time he was done cleaning up the raccoon's mess.
Eli had already got the framing and drywall and put the first wall up on their house while Ami was cleaning the lot up for her.It would be another night sleeping in the tent and that was to continue until they got the rest of the house built.
They both got tired and went to sleep in the tent at 8PM when it got fully dark outside and a wild horse went walking down the road in front of their lot.Another horse was actually on the lot and walking around on their property.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky got up very early that morning in late summer of 1660 to find it still dark outside and it was getting colder at nights now that summer was almost over for the year.They both got themselves ready for the new day and got set up to start working on the gardens once the sun was up and day had broken.They also knew they'd have to start getting their outfits updated for the coming fall very soon.
Eli decided to start with the garden at Garden House and got right to work on harvesting the produce right away so it could be sold to the grocery stall at Garden Market where Ami was working on the garden there instead of helping Eli at Garden House.They agreed to work that way because it would fetch them more money each day.
Ami arrived at Garden Market while Eli was already working on the garden at Garden House and got himself right to work on harvesting the produce from the garden so it would be sold and make them 1000$ in just the one day.He worked very hard with his garden harvesting and Eli also worked very hard and they usually got a few thousand from the money trees in the public gardens.
Eli was still working when it got very close to noon and started to move through the afternoon and into the early evening hours.Ami was also working very hard on his garden and it took up most of the day though they enjoyed the gardening.They both knew they'd be done with the work by late-afternoon and still had to deal with showers and getting soup to eat.
Ami was quickly coming to realize that he needed to get into outfits more geared to fall weather and to the new season.He also was working very hard and saw the day quickly drifting away from them.They both hoped to get their gardening jobs done before needing to stop for showers and dinner.
They finally got done early in the evening and got showered and ready to eat dinner and sell the produce to the grocery stall before they headed home to clean up the lot and get more of their house built.
They stopped to get the clean up done on their lot and got another section of wall up for their house as it was getting dark outside.They were very excited about getting more of the house built.Eli and Ami both prayed that they'd get the house finished before fall actually set in officially.
They both ended up deciding to try sleeping in their tent for another night in hopes of it not getting cold and frosting over.It was 8PM when they were finally getting into the tent and getting to sleep.
Eli and Ami got up very early that morning and went right over to Garden House to get ready for the new day.It was still dark outside when they got up though it was nearing sunrise and there would be daylight soon enough.Summer was almost over for them and they wanted to get their house finished before fall arrived.
Eli got to work harvesting produce in the garden at Garden House while Ami headed towards Garden Market to get the produce harvested there.They expected to make a fair bit of money and to be closer to finishing their house.They also knew they'd have to get their clothing updated for fall very soon.
Ami was running towrds Garden Market and they decided to get themselves some bikes for longer trips so they wouldn't have to run when it was a long trip.He wanted to get there and get his job done so they could make enough to finish their house off and be able to move into the house and be able to eat at home.
They got their work done in the afternoon and decided to eat lunch before getting iPad out to play social games on them.They were finished with the harvesting and decided to get the produce sold for a large amount of cash.The cash would pay for the framing and drywall they needed to finish the house.
They got another wall up on their house and looked foreward to being able to live properly on their lot and in the house.They still had to wait at least a few more days before being able to move into their house because it wasn't finished yet and would still take a few more days before it was done.
Eli and Ami wanted to sleep at home and ended up having to go back to Garden House to sleep when the ground got covered in frost and it was very chilly outside.Thie made them want to get their house built even more than ever before cold weather set in and they had to stop sleeping at home.They got to sleep at 8PM.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky both got up very early that morning in late summer in 1660 to find that it was still staying mild most nights though it was getting colder on other nights.It was time to start getting serious about finishing the househbuild before fall was really setting in.They were getting themselves ready for the day and trying to get the gardening done before it got too late in the day.
Eli went over to Garden House to get to work on harvesting the produce from that garden before it was very late in the day and she wanted to start earning the money to pay for building their house on the lot.Their shopping plaza called Garden Market was near the local hospital and the hospital was just behind the place.
Eli got to work at Garden House and got the produce harvested fairly quickly before it started getting too late in the day to be able to get themselves to bed at a reasonable time.She was thinking about the past when they were starving and homeless with no hope of having a home and a house and that was changing now since they had their own lot and were building the house on the lot.
Ami was also working on a garden and it was at Garden Market where they'd gone earlier because the toilets at Garden House were all clogged and they couldn't unclog them earlier though Eli went to work on that after finishing with the gardening.Ami was thinking about how they had no hope of raising children before they came to Glen Harbor and there was hope for that once they got the house built and could expand it enough.
Eli was still working on the garden early in the afternoon and would be done by mid-afternoon with the gardening with the hope to earn 1000$ for the efforts and they were sometimes getting 2500$ from the money trees.
The Jankowskys were looking foreward to having another wall up on their house and eventually getting it done and being able to camp inside the house.They were selling the produce to the store and getting the materials for building their house.They started out living homeless when they arrived in early summer and there was a house starting to come together for them to live in and it would protect them in the winter when it got cold outside.
Eli and Ami both got back to their lot after making sure they wouldn't need washrooms and got the lot cleaned up before they got ready to get into the tent and get to sleep.It was only 7PM and they were already very tired and wanting to get to sleep before too much longer.
They were alseep by 7:30 and it wasn't long before a stray dog decided to sleep near the edge of their property and they wouldn't mind at all because they were asleep.They could only think about how close they were to actually having a real house to live in and being able to own furniture and use a washroom of their own.This also meant having a chance to try to start a family and even a baby in the future when their house was big enough.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both getting up early that morning to get to work on the harvesting and they wanted to get an early start before the sun was up and it got too hot for working.They were anxious to get their house built before fall got started and was followed by winter because they wanted to be able to work and earn money until they did start the baby and they also started hoping to find another family moving into town before too long since it was almost fall and they wanted to be able to meet other people and have neighbors.
Eli was busy working on the garden at Garden House and that would continue until they finally got the house built and were ready to start working at a job.Ami got to work on the garden at Garden Market and they both got the produce harvested and were going to sell it to the grocer stall at the market.
They met up and decided to kiss each other carefully and to eat lunch since they were hoping to get ready to start their family one day when they finally did get pregnant and end up having the baby they eventually wanted to have.They would have to finish adding to their house to make it big enough before having a baby.
They both decided to play arcade hoops for a while for some fun before they had to get the produce sold to the store and use the money for their house construction.Their games with the hoops were fun and it also built up athletic skill without them getting smelly and sweaty.
Eli and Ami both went home after selling their produce and cleaned up the lot before they got another section of wall up on their house and got ready to get themselves to bed since it was already 7PM.They were going to be grateful if they got just the basic shelter built before they had to stop for winter and that would be a big help until spring started.
They did make it to be by 7:30 in the evening and that was good enough for them since they were about to have a finished house to move into on their lot very soon since they were almost done with the construction of the basic part of the house which was just enough to give them shelter for the winter until they could start building again.They did eventually plan to use this lot to raise most of the family until their last kids.
