The Tiki Living Room Set was at number 2 on the March list.
I get the feeling the Store team is playing with us. (Maybe playing fairy tricks; hot, cold ???)
I don't post often, but this list of items is really underwhelming.
Old stuff mostly. I liked the idea of a new rotation but now I'm kind of sad. Even the sales section has no great deals this week Oo. Hope it picks up soon!
And also, ajaxpost and Meg1626 and all the other simmers participating : THANK YOU for doing these lists, I know it must be time consuming! It is really handy to all of us!
Anybody else finding this list of items familiar? Like deja-vu in a bad way? :?
Yes, but that could just be because some of these items are like the go-to items for each and EVERY list. I couldn't say I was surprised at all to see May 2012 Compilation come up again. I think I've seen that on 3-4 'different' lists since I started DD stalking, not all that long ago.
Then again, maybe we were too quick to jump to a new list; instead, they've just hit the 'randomise' button and are throwing a few new items into the DD blender too!
It's all a mystery! I wish we knew HOW the lists were created. :?

As promised, my new lot is up - a renovation of the first lot I ever uploaded to the Exchange, Big Bull Bowling (which never had a bull anyway, so I don't know why I called it that). It now has a new name!
Action and adventure, destruction and mayhem! No, we're not talking about crashing through a wall riding on construction equipment in your underwear - we're talking about BOWLING! Good clean fun for you and all your family and friends! Formerly known as Big Bull Bowling, we've recently renovated and are better than ever!
Enjoy!
Bouncing :!: :!: Its gorgeous. Daggum work, will have to put in game this evening. I bookmarked the sites with the cc last night, stayed up way past my bedtime looking at stuff. I'm going to get addicted to that as well as patterns. I couldn't figure out how to bookmark your list so I bookmarked your post with the link. It did have print icon, but, of course my printer is not working right now. I have the worst luck with printers...that techno-illeterate thing. :x
So far, not as impressed with this list as the last one. Those single items can help decrease the cys cost so not a total loss, but the percent off needs to be really nice too. I still need some single items that are not part of sets, just store items, so maybe they will throw a few of those in the mix.

Yeah, I like single items because of the CYS thing and because they're cheap, but I'm hoping for a better percent off too. I know it's silly, but I kind of want to pick up a super cheap item because my simpoints have been at 666 for far too long... :?
Hi I'm new in posting here on the DD Stalker page. But I have been lurking for along time. In fact last rotation was so good & well edited from the curve balls the store would throw at you I felt I should Finally Chime In & thank you all for this thread!!
During this past rotation I felt I had to post Your list Items on my page. Because so many of my friends were getting upset about missing the deals!! In fact It was one of my friends that brought your list page to my attention again. I say again Because I had seen your list in the past & used them for myself, but the sales were never as good to my knowledge!!
Oh & now a notation Of my own If you own the item on the DD page when it's up open another window to the store page at the bottom it will show the percentage that item is on sale for!! I do hope this is not common knowledge & if it is not, Than I hope I have helped YOU all this time!! :-)
Thanks Again, You Can all call me HB all my friends do!!

Many thanks to everyone posting the deal details, and it's great to see yet more new names joining in on this latest thread, Welcome!
And thank you, once again, Jodi, for your continued dedication to maintaining your awesome spreadsheet; link now duly added to the first post.
Must admit to being a bit nervous about this rotation. Still not entirely convinced we've got the start date right; the odd repeats we've been getting confuses the picture slightly, though we are certainly used to both similar and different repeats within a list.
But ... we'll keep watching it, it will keep frustrating and confusing us and, hopefully, it will throw us a few new and amazing deals along the way. At least the discounts are still pretty good, compared to previous rotations

Hi HB, I'm a lurker who doesn't usually post, but I'm not sure what you said here was clear, and it struck me as such a great point I wanted to make sure people understood. When the DD is something you own, instead of logging out, seeing the percentage off, then logging back on, just look at the Store homepage. The bottom right box, the DD one, says the percentage off. That doesn't give the price, but the price shows up once it's a past deal, so... no logging out and back on necessary in the end. Enough people on these threads report logging off and back on to check price and percentage off that I think your advice will help some people!
HBSIMSTER and Mcdowellashc, thanks for spreading that very helpful information. I never really paid attention to that before, and it's certainly more convenient than logging out or (as I was doing) loading the DD in multiple browsers.
I'll be back for Cupid's Locket (Totally a Midnight Hollow clothing item), but for now, I think I'll do other things. Finished posting all of my unposted Ridiculon screenshots, so little reason to hang around.
EDIT: Ooo, Ultra Lounge stuff. That I want.
Rebuilding Sims 2 inside Sims 3 one lot and sim at a time.
I'm suddenly not seeing the "this item also belongs to a set" information at the bottom of item pages, even when I know they are parts of sets. Is it just me?

If we don't have the start date right then well just see stuff we've already seen at prices we've already seen them at (providing it rotates at all).
If it did have a different start date I'd say it was when mother Russia came up with no past deals at the start of the month (followed by the deep fryer and stuff), but really who knows at the minute.
As of April 24th 2015 I joined the own the store club. Thank you to those who helped in my journey. DD spreadsheet
Not to rain on your parade, but the Ultra Lounge Living Set is coming up after the Cupid's Locket, not the Goddess Tank. Well, maybe also the Goddess Tank, at some point. I'm not sure.
I'm suddenly not seeing the "this item also belongs to a set" information at the bottom of item pages, even when I know they are parts of sets. Is it just me?
Yes. Same for me. I just get a list on other items I might want. Cupids locket is part of Victorian Fashions but doesn't say that when you click on it. And I will snag it if the price is good.

I'm having the same issues. The store and forums are very slow this morning to refresh.

Thanks! I knew I had seen it in some set, but couldn't figure it out. The set it belongs to wasn't showing up for me either and when I would use the search feature to search for it in the store it would come back as nothing matched.
This happens every now and then to me, where the set doesn't show up. It's very aggravating! :x
Tahera, if the DD price for Taintless Window is more than 25 sp and if you do not own any items in BahHaus, you may want to purchase Abstract by BahHaus first. This decor item is only 25 sp.
This is from the second post on Page 1 of this thread under the section "Getting Great Discounts Using Complete Your Set"
Normally each item you buy only reduces the set price by 90% of the cost of the item but for the first item you also get a bonus of 10% of the whole set price. If you buy the first item in a set at full price, your discount is equal to (10% of the Set Price) - (10% of the item cost).
The 10% of the item cost that you lose is the difference between what you pay and what you save. Therefore the more expensive the item is that you buy the less you will save.
I know this is too late for the BahHaus window, but it looks like we're going to get a lot of single items in this rotation that can activate CYS for sets, so I should probably post a reminder. You can always save money by activating CYS before buying a set with CYS, even if you have to buy an item at full price to do so.
However, in that example, the formula (10% of the Set Price) - (10% of the item cost) is quick cocktail napkin math to make sure you don't forget to include what you spend on the item, but it's a simplification of the actual formula that is only accurate for the special case of buying an item at full price.
The actual formula for what you save is (10% of the Set Price) + (90% of the item value) - (100% of the item cost). If you're paying full price, the cost and the value are the same. If you're buying a sale item, they're not.
Activating CYS by buying Abstract by BahHaus at full price saves about
(.1 * 1350) + (.9 * 25) - (1 * 25) = 135 + 22.5 - 25 = 132.5 SP
Activating CYS by buying Taintless Window at the sale price saves about
(.1 * 1350) + (.9 * 100) - (1 * 58) = 135 + 90 - 58 = 167 SP
Because of the difference between the cost and the value, you're almost always better off buying a sale item than a full-price item to activate CYS. (If you get a single-digit discount on an expensive item, do the math, otherwise, buy the sale item to activate CYS.)
