Sims 2 Sites

I guess this comes just in time for flashback February - computer died and am using an older one until it is fixed. This comp just HATES Sims 3 - it'll run but the lag and drag just kills the fun so.... I decided I'd break out Sims 2. I own it (and the EPs and some SPs), I just never played it.

What I would like is a recommendation or two for good Sims 2 sites - not necessarily for downloads (although I'll take those as well), but more for good, active forums that might take kindly to a Sims 2 newb and hold my hand a bit as I figure the game out. Yes, it's still Sims, but I don't know the ins and outs - the cheats, the best way to do things, how to configure for downloads or custom content, the best mods, etc.

Who knows... maybe I'll actually be able to finish a legacy without the game imploding.

I'm not the best person to go to for TS2 info BUT this site is just fine if you want to talk about it. TS2 official website has been long gone and anything sims related (doesn't matter), is accepted here. 8) Consider this a bump since I don't know anything. Yes, I once owned the base and some packs for it but it's been sooo long.

You can ask here. There are quite a few of us that still play TS2 as well as TS3.

I've posted about TS2 things here when my Sims 3 computer was out for repairs and I got stuck with my old Windows XP laptop from almost 7 years ago and it still works.I can still play TS2 on the old computer and Sims 3 on the one I'm using.I still know most of the cheats for TS2 and use some of them almost all of the time.
