Thank you very much Rose, Yanti and Snowmoon. I really appreciate your comments, I do not make many parks so I was afraid I overdid it with the flowers but am pleased that it was well received.

Starboard Clothing Company is a very nice build ! :) The introductory background details that you have written for it is great and nicely descriptively written. Very nice exterior of it ! The building and interior furnishings and the colours you have used suits Barnacle Bay well. The roofing and the textures that you have used for the exterior look great. The greenery planter boxes look nice. It looks great how you have done the windows, The window shades look great. It looks great how you have done the window displays with the mannequins and coat racks in them for sims to see when outside looking in. It is great that these same window alcoves can be enjoyed insides too as you have tables with items on them facing inwards too. It looks very nice the window display where you have recoloured the head statue blue and red and have placed the jewellery stands that look like boats either side and the toiletry bottles underneath. Nice recolouring and hanging of the pennants across the windows there. Very nice furnishing of the interior! It looks very nice how you have recoloured the mannequins through the store . It looks great how you have placed and clothed the models through the store. It looks great how you have placed the items on tables, shelves and walls through the store. It looks very nice how you have done the upper level area where you have the various nice shades of pastel colours of the mannequins together. Great setting up of it as an alterations section! Nice wall area behind the counter where you have placed the leaves pictures and the other pictures on the sides of them. The bubble bath bottles on the shelves look great there. Great childrens area. It looks great that you have the child model there, as well as the backpacks, rocking horse and shelves with toys on it. The floral mat looks nice, Great teens models area. The beauty boxes and beauty products on the table look great. The star ceiling lights look great. It looks great that the clothes on the models all suit the look of what sims would wear in Barnacle Bay. It looks great how you have used red , white and blue through the build. It looks great how you have done the jewellery area where you have placed the 4 counters together and have the model in the middle of it and the jewellery cushions and other jewellery items on top of the counters. It looks great how you have set up the different areas of the store to suit different types of clothing and items and different ages of the sims. The sportswear, swimwear and casual wear areas look great, Great nautical theme of the wall decor. The nautical pictures, the life ring and the oars look great. The boat themed bookcase in the corner looks great and suits the build.. It looks great how you have done the dressing rooms with the curtains. Starboard Clothing Company looks ideal for BB- love the bleached out, beachy colours inside while outside the use of the nautical looking striped awning on the windows finishes it perfectly. What a picturesque consignment store!

    Champs Les Sims Community Lots
More Pictures of All the Champs Lots

Marché de Champs Town Square 25x26 lot

I built an open market in the town square to free up some of the town's lots so I can build a few venues. It will have a books, relics, nectar, food and vegetable seller. I may adjust it after some play-testing.

During play testing I removed the existing registers from Champs, and the shop townies came to their new stations right away.

    Champs Les Sims Lots

I went a bit photo-heavy on my Champs post so I will break it into another one. I've uploaded the Market and Artist's Workshop. *Update* I've now uploaded the Casino and Local Watering Hole/Music Hall as well. Links below, Base Camp/Spa still a WIP.

Lounge/Casino Casino d'Or (Casino/Restaurant if placed on the hill the outdoor dining area overlooks the village.)

I am putting the spa inside the base camp so it will still have a function after purchasing a vacation home. I'm giving it a makeover, but trying to keep some of the charm of the original lot.

The open air market is a great build. :) It is a great that there are a variety of different registers on the same lot. It looks great how you have used the gazebo and the canopies . The umbrella covered tables and chairs look nice. It is a great market suited to the world and lifestyle of Champs les sims.
Your art workshop build is very nice :) Great exterior of it . It looks nice how you have done the flowers along the front edges of the building, and the window shades look great. Nice type of shutter and flower box windows that you have used which suit the world of the build. It looks great that you have placed tables and chairs outside the front for sims to enjoy sitting outdoors in the sunlight . The glasshouse area looks great. It looks great how you have set up the various areas of the build with the different types of arts. Sims will enjoy doing the various forms of art there. Great furnishings that accompany and suit the areas surrounding each skill item. It looks great how you have placed the lines of hanging pictures on the wall above the desk. Great placement of wall decor and sculptures through the build areas,
    They are great builds, :)

Two more lovely builds! The market looks so relaxed and `old town`-ish, your use of soft colours and cobblestones is just gorgeous and really atmospheric. I can almost feel the warmth of the sunshine, and trust me considering I'm writing this from the cold and rainy UK that's an achievement

I love the artists workshop too,I can just imagine arty Sims pottering around in there :)

Champs is my favorite world, so I really didn't want to change the feeling of it. I'm so happy that I was able to keep the same atmosphere that makes it such a lovely place.

I've been wanting to revisit the WA locations for ages now, my sim can spend 15 days there at a time with her certificate and I finished the tombs ages ago, so it's nice to have a few more things for her to do while there. I'm not sure what I will work on this weekend (or if I will have time.) I may try to finish up my resort for Leep's contest, since the (extended) deadline less than a week away. I hope to go back to my Bridgeport lots or build my casino for Champs soon.

Thank you so much Rose and Yanti!

I really appreciate you stopping by and leaving encouragement for me. I am going to finish up my Champs les Sims lots and then I will be taking a break from the Sims again. The Elder Scrolls online is starting on Sunday and I'm sure it will take up most of my free-time for a while.

To anyone who stops by after this point, thank you so much for the support, I apologize in advance if I do not see your response for a while.

    La pâtisserie des Champs

Bakery and Coffeeshop on 20x20 lot.

I wanted to keep the small town feel of Champs les Sims but add a bit more of the Parisian feeling of having some coffee on a busy street so the coffee shop side was inspired by Café de Flore. If used with the market there is a bit of sim activity for 'sim watching' and a chance to meet the locals. The bakery has an oven and should be set to serve desserts at the tables either out front or inside. There's an unfurnished room upstairs near the restrooms for expansion.
