Callmore A Village in the Dragon Valley
Medieval is the theme of this town and I have taken on the task of making over rebuilding and improving the world Dragon Valley .
SO to keep that theme going;
Im calling on all of you to create the Citizens that will form the community some medieval style dewellings and Community lots.
You do not Have to own Dragon valley to enter, just have the creative flare to produce an entry that is in style of the medieval theme
ENTRY TYPES
Type A; Single sim
Type B; Couples
Type C; Families
Type D; mixed households(groups/students)
Type E; Residental Lots
Type F; Homes with attached Business( TIP use the make room public marker )
Type G; Houses with Residents
Type H; Home/Business with Residents
Type I; Community lots( NO Rabhitholes as Ive already improved the EA lots )
Requirement Details
All Sims Must be dressed to look Medieval. You must include a little backgound story to the Citizens you create and dont forget all the inportant details like ; Traits, Birth Sign, Favourite:music,food,colour. Life Time Wish and Skills they may have.
You can add Pets if you wish too.
For Residental dewellings please Keep to the Medieval Theme for exteriors and interiors.
Provide details of rooms. Add a back ground story for the lot.
You may even put little surprises in the lots Like; Broken appliances, Hauntings, Verm infested ,secrete tombs. But this is upto you!
Community lots they must be in the theme of medieval, but you can choice any type of lot from shops, pubs, clubs, hangouts, uni, restaurants, cafes, daycare, childs play centres, gardens, parks, festival grounds, craft centre and a whole lot more.

RULES and JUDGING CRITERIA
RULES
1: You Must Stick to the Medieval Theme for all Entries.
2: Please, No Rabbit Hole Community Lots. (as ive already redeveloped them)
3: Each Entry must Have its Own Completed Entry Form.
4: Each Entry must Have its Own Entry Post (please state on this which Type of Entry)
5: NO 3rd Party CC. This will be checked and if found in the Entry, it will be Disqualifide.
6: Sorry NO CAP Created Patterns. as Ive found some to be currupted and cause the game glitch and even crashes.
7: EA SIM store items are allowed and so are items from all the EA Worlds.
8: You May create any of the sim Types and colours.
9: Be kind to myself(calmorezoo) Sponsors, Judges and fello Simmers taking part.
10: Please Provide the little story Background for all your Entries.
11: Pictures No More Than 6 per Entry.(but you may provide a link to more)
12: Pictures for sims you may provide 6 for each sim's as theres 6 Clothing Outfits. BUT Please if Group /Household provide this in a Link form.
13: Its important make sure you fill in all the Exchange information on your entries.
14: Make sure you read the judging Criteria.
15: Please Play Test Lot Entries Before Uploading. as if Judges find any issues to do with routing. 2 points will be deducted for each issue.
16: NO Reuploading or using Other peoples Creations for your entry. if found you will be Disqualifed from the comp.
17: If your having genuine Exchange Uploading issues, Please inform us at Minimum of 5 Hours before Closing Time and I may accept a Mediafire Upload link.
18: I reserve the right to change the closing date But this will only be to Extend it if entries are low or other fare and valied reasons (ie RL).

Maxium Points you can earn per Entry is : 110

10 points for - The 6 pictures for each LOT entry AND/OR
The 6 pictures for sims BUT provide Link if its a multipul Sims in
the entry.
10 points for - The brief history Story about the entry.
10 points for - How well the Entry fits the Medieval Theme.
10 points for - Creative style and flare.
10 points for - That Surprise Element.
10 points for - Landsacping on lots.
10 points for - including a home business.
10 points for - any skills or hidden traits a Sim may have.
10 points for - playability and how much fun entry was in game.

2 points will be dectucted for every single routing issue found in lots entries.

Question 1 From Airis; Can I enter one of my own old creations ?
Answer; Yes you can as long as youve play tested and it fits the rules/ judging criteria.

Answer; It can be either: just a craft shed set up with one of the hobby skills items OR a full functioning business using the cheats and the public room marker.

i mainly ask because i only have store worlds and about 5 sets in my game for now (my computer cant seem to handle much these days thank to possessor on way out) oopps lost track....i was looking at related content for DV and the magic set was there THEN i thought hmmmm what about the free item from Midnight Hollow
Answer; Yes you may use content from any of the EA worlds, any store items and any items from EPs and SPs . AS long as it fits in with the Medieval theme

I usually make period lots with business/income/crafting facilities.
Do they actually have to function with customers/clients? How would you do this?

Answer; The Public room Markers
are to allow rooms within a residental lots (with Buildable Shells UNlocked)
you will find it in the BuyDebug catalog and only when in build buy mode OR if BuyDeBug OR RestrictBuildBuy Cheasts are ON.
A Public Room Marker must be Placed in the rooms you want to allow nieghbourhood sims to access. Including entrance hall and coridoors . Accept of the outside grounds as they are already access able Unless youve set gates to household only.

Question 6 From mrlabean ; I'm sorry if it's been ask/ mentioned before but I didn't see. But is there a limit to the lot size/ cost? I'm just wondering because I started working on something big, REALLY BIG! and it's going to be expensive too. So if this will be a problem I'll set it aside and keep it for myself.
Answer; NO Lot size limts as Ive emptied most of the residental lots in the world are all blank. But I can add lots sizes as needed.
All though I would prefer 40-40 OR Less. So ive still got room for the town to grow.

I ask as I've also got a family I made for this as well (which I brilliantly forgot to upload) as another lot I'm working on (which is a residence lot with family). If you want me to pick what I think are my best three that's fine and I will - its more that I love having an excuse to build/try to make things medieval.

I think i'll go for type G: Sims and Houses. Need to practise for both, so is that ok?
I do have a question about having an attached business though. Does it have to be a functioning business, or is it enough for it to just look like a business using decorative items?
