@blair2396, I have a WIP of what skill and fun items I have in the basement. I have inventing and sculpting in the garage with the fixer upper cars and logic and painting items throughout the house. In the attic I just have the Alchemy. Is there something else you would like in the attic? I can add something, leave that area open for future use or make the attic smaller and just have the Alchemy up there.
Is the blue and green in the master OK? If you'd rather a different color just say. It's for your sim. I have green in the spare and the nursery I've change a couple of times. Eventually I'll make up my mind! LOL
Everything looks great! Maybe we can just leave the rest of the attic empty just in case, for some strange reason, I need to add another bedroom later on. My Sims kind of have a mind of their own so I never know with them lol and blue and green in the master is totally fine
Great! I'll just leave that area looking like attic. I so know what you mean about the sims! LOL They can do some really unexpected things when you leave them alone for a day or week.
This traditional home has a study, dining that seats 12, sunken living room, pet room, kitchen with child / toddler play area, Master, guest, boy (4), girl (4), nursery (4) and 7 baths. The Attic has Alchemy and a free area. The basement has a rec room, science room, gym and recording studio. It has a garage for 2 fixer uppers and one with parking for 3 autos and 4 bikes. The lot has a play area, pool, hot tub, pond and gazebo. ~ DNA Request for blair2396 ~ by romagi ~ Enjoy!
Brandywine is a very nice home! The exterior design of the home and the layout of the interior look very nice! It is a very detailed build! The windows look very nice how they are placed in the home. Very nice outdoors areas! The playground area is great! The kids will have fun playing in the sandpits or on the swings, spring riders and slide there. Very nice pool area ! Sims will have fun swimming in the pool, enjoy resting poolside on the loungers or enjoy relaxing in the hot tub. The art gazebo is so very nice! Sims will enjoy painting on the easel there in the outdoors air. The bridge is so pretty! Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home! The study and games room is very nice! Sims will have fun playing chess at the tables there, or enjoy sitting at the table using the computers or reading a book. Very nice dining room ! It is great that there are 12 dining chairs for sims to enjoy eating meals together. The type of chairs used looks nice. The flowers and candles are pretty on the table for sims to see when dining there. The positioning of the pictures in diagonal rows on the wall looks very great! Very nice sunken living room! Sims will enjoy sitting relaxing on the sofas there watching tv or enjoy resting on the armchairs listening to the musical instruments being played. The corner music nook looks very nice! Very nice design of the kitchen! The island bar stool counter is great for sims to sit and eat a meal. The kitchen wall tiling gives a nice look to the room. The colour chairs around the dominos table look colourfully nice! The kids will have fun using the toy stoves. Very nice sun room art nook! Sims will enjoy painting there with sunshine coming in through the windows. Very nice furnishing of the bedrooms and nursery ! The colour schemes, curtains, and placement of the beds and cots in the rooms looks so very nice! The magic room is great! Sims will enjoy doing alchemy on the alchemy table there. The potions on the shelves and the books on the tables give a great look to the room! The purple colour scheme of the room looks very nice. Very nice basement level! The aquarium is a nice touch there. Sims will enjoy sitting on the colourful stools around the table having a drink from the bar, or have fun using the bubble machine, or playing foosball or pool. The music studio looks very great! Very nice gym and martial arts room! Sims will enjoy using the equipment there to keep fit . It is great that there is a science room in the home.
It is such a very nice family home!
@romagi1, wow, Brandywine is really beautiful! I dl'ed for a better look and I love this house a lot. I especially love the master suite, pretty colors and very luxurious looking. And the children's bedrooms are so cute and the neutral gender nursery is so pretty. And I love that little gazebo you created with the pond surrounding it and the little bridge. Absolutely awesome!
Yes 30x30 sounds perfect.
A small play area for children would be nice, as well as the swift gro station (if you can fit it in) and I'm pretty sure I have that statue.
...and wow you are quite super fast. The exterior looks lovely so far. I really love the way it is done, the flowers, the ivy, the wood, the water wheel and the roof shape. I'm just a bit unsure about the roof colour itself, most of the houses in DV have rather dark roofs, but I do like the idea of the thatched roof in any case.
@Heledriel, Ya know, I knew there was a darker thatched roof but could not find it to save my life! LOL I did find it now. Since the 30 x 30 is fine I will continue on with it.
The Medieval home WIP looks so very nice! Very nice exterior design of the home! The design of the roofing looks so great! The greenery is nice touches on the exterior walls. The flowers in the front garden areas look very pretty!
Is this the vision you have for the interior? Earthy and woody early cottage style? Are you wanting this for a fairy? Like the twisted wood furniture from SuperNatural for the bedrooms or just cottagey like?
The kitchen and the water wheelhouse (I put alchemy in that part) have the stone floor but the rest has a wood floor.
The interior just looks as lovely. Love the idea of the cauldron in the kitchen, but no it don't have to be all fairy, cottagey will be fine enough.
(I wanted the fairy or fairy-tale like look especially for the exterior design and architecture which you just did perfect.)

Brandywine is just beautiful! I love most of all how you made the bay window, the high arch in the front porch and the sunroom with an upper terrace!

I have room in the kitchen for either the bakery oven or the pizza oven. Would you like one of them?
