The Sims 3 Launcher Has Stopped Working

So I've been trying to Install The Sims 3 Expansion Packs & Stuff Packs, and I've got as far as Katy Perry's Sweet Treat Stuff. Since trying to install Diesel Stuff via Origin, I need to open up the Launcher in order to proceed and when I try to do that I get the message "Sims3Launcher Has Stopped Working" almost instantaneously. Any solutions? It's literally right after I double click one of the Sims 3 Icons. Thanks!

Is Origin and the store and all of your games fully patched?
Try applying the manual super patch to your base game. Just download and install it. There is a sticky for it at the top of this forum.

Also clean out cache files including browser cache files.

If you are using windows clean your registry.
