Oh wow, I log in to find not one, not two, but SIX items from the Fifth Avenue Fashions, bringing the price down to a much more affordable looking 355sp with the weekly discount! :D

Thank you so much @Charlotteprice and @Melaniet1020 for your generosity! <3 My sims will be looking fab in their new business suits :D

I shall wait JUST a bit longer before getting the set though, still would love to get one or two items from No's. 1-12 on my wishlist.

@simgeek79‌ yeah i saw the best deal was at 952 on the list so i've written it down! stupidly i didn't realise the spreadsheet told you how much it would be on dd so i've managed to write down all the ones i want and when they best deal is on so now all i have to do is keep my eye out and set a few alarms lol! im still confused with the whole compilation thing but i'm slowly starting to get the hang of how the store works (only took me 4 years haha)

Just want to say i'm so grateful to simmers who have sat and spent so much time helping other simmers doing spreadsheets and making threads helping people get the best deals!

    <3

I'm just seeing this now @JENiiEY‌ since I realized I should click on quote. It is quite a lot to take in, but the spreadsheet is so handy. @Me1620 is a spreadsheet genius and her team is awesome. I too have set up alarms and a calendar to keep track of the deals I want up until the end of January. Thankfully I'm done with the 2am alarms for now. I have to sneak onto the computer at work just after 10am my time to pick up the Eloquently Eclectic set because I should be getting that one free, as I'm sure a lot of people will. You should check yours as well as your The Gentlemans Lounge Collection (Deal 307 - best deal) I got that one free on the first round of the current list. Compilations are awesome. I purchased the Casino last night for 532 pts which gave me the Up the Ante Compilation for free, so that was a 2100 point value for 532 - not bad ;)

Again, you're welcome for the gift, I really wish I could do more...still trying to get ads but may have to break down and buy some since Prism Art Studio is coming up soon (Deal 124-only deal) along with the Dance Studio (Deal 183 - best deal). Maybe Santa will bring me an EA gift card...

    Have a great day!
I now Own the Store!!...Thank you to everyone who helped me get here <3

Thank you so much @kforti for the Diva Dress! I love how unique the style is and the beautiful diamond necklace.

The Date Night set is getting close to completion at 55% so that is very exciting!

Today I thought I would add the "Fifth Ave. Fashions" items to my WL as it is on sale and currently only 5% finished for me. I think it's such a glamorous and stylish set and like the Date Night set, I love all of the
    fashions.

Both of the sets are at the top of my wl, ending at the "Tot Sized 3-piece" which is not from either set. Anything would be so appreciated, thank you so much to everyone who has helped contribute so far! Hope you are all enjoying your Simming time and getting in the holiday spirit as Christmas approaches!

Question: When it comes to Bohemian Garden does anyone know if the Bohemian Fruits and Nuts will ever be available for purchase separately? That's the only thing I want from that set, but it's not available for individual sale.

i highly doubt it. i had no choice but to work on the whole set, because all i wanted was the fruits and nuts, as well. it bums me out when i have to purchase the whole set when all im really interested in is the one the thing that isnt allowed to be purchased separately. :(

Thanks so much @charlotteprice, for the gifts! The Luxury Spa Set dropped to 25sp, so I was able to pick it up! That knocked a couple of hundred off the July 2011 Compilation, too, so it's that much closer. :) The window knocked the Contemporary Comfort Living to 25sp as well, so that's two sets down! Such a nice surprise to wake up to! That and the snow, and it feels like Christmas!

Which set are you working on?

I have decided to focus on 'One With Nature' as it will finish out my furniture sets <besides the two venues>.

EDIT: Don't answer that, I just had to scroll up LOL!! <bops head>

@ajaxpost thank you for explaining the spreadsheet - it took me a bit to figure out but I definitely wouldn't have been able to explain it to VioletHorse the way you did - you're awesome too...and I thought I read somewhere that you hosted the DD Stalker thread before Ximph so kudos to you to for all your hard work and effort and for helping simmers like me get the sets we want for the minimum amount of points :)
You are correct. Ajaxpost hosted the DD thread many times. He is also responsible for adding so much excellent information on the first page of the previous DD threads. Unfortunately, due to character limits in this new forum, that information was moved to our sister board.

@ajaxpost - your tutorial thread on using the spreadsheet is excellent. I am adding a link to it on the welcome tab of the spreadsheet.

As trithone posted, please do not feel shy about asking us questions about the spreadsheet. We have sorted the information various ways to help you complete your sets for hopefully the least amount of simpoints.
Thank you, I'm really happy to be able to help.

As an 'old hand' at this Store business it's great to still be able to share in the buzz of hunting down good deals with another 'generation' of Deal Stalkers :)

ok I checked the spreadsheet and "Palace of Versailles" will be on DD next month(forgot the date).I would like to see if I can get it,with some help from angels, and surprise a sister.it is on sale and the sale ends the 24th of this month.i will be adding the set to my wishlist by items.(ignore the whole set that costs 1,342(sale price 1,073) I will delate the whole set after Christmas since looking at my wishlist will tell me what 2 angels,or angel, gifted me. thx

You are welcome @tombwriter & @shaliny1997 I had hoped to pick up more simpoints but the ad I have
been getting for the past while asks for birthday & gender first. Mine didn't work so
I thought they wanted a younger viewer so tried that way. But nope. Must be a secret
    group. lol

Also could someone explain how the whole compilation thing works? I see people always mentioning that buying certain things makes them get free compilation sets, is there like a certain strategy for that to happen?

I should have been in bed an hour ago, so can't type much now so I will just direct you to the DD Info page at http://simsdailydeals.proboards.com/thread/18/daily-deal-stalker-important-information which tries to explain how CYS and compilations work. But the best advice is to always check the prices on all the related sets and compilations every time you're thinking of buying something.

Don't just go to the set page, for example Boho Vintage Women, go to the page of an individual item and see which other sets it is part of, for example these Boho CAS items are also in the September 2011 compilation so check your CYS price on that as well. It's possible that you may be able to get another set in the compilation really cheaply and that could make the set you really want free!

Some items are in three or four sets and that can make CYS really powerful if you buy things in the right order - if in doubt ask on the DD thread :)

Also, I would strongly recommend using Elianahere's Calculator where you can quickly check how cheap combining a Sale or DD price with your CYS discount will make the set you're after - it can help you work out how much more you may need to spend (or get gifted) in order to make the set free. :)
