      Wow o.o Magnificent cakes :shock: I don't think I would want to eat any of them,
      rather keep 'em as a trophy (or something) for all eternity xD

      thank you all. I'm so happy the summer rush is over. I don't usually have to do anything for the holidays. I'm really looking forward to the break.

      CAKE!! :D Beautifully decorated :) How long does it take you to do one? I would love to be able to decorate cakes like that, but im still at the basic stages of figuring out icing ;)

      Lol at first I was thinking whoa you went to a lot of weddings and a baby shower? Did all your kids get married at once? :lol:
      Then I realized/remembered you decorated them not necessarily attended those events.

      You did a really great job I love the black and white bird cage one! That's a very cute idea and it looks great

      Those look really good, like I imagine you would feel bad eating it, but the taste would make you feel good, so you wouldn't mind eating it...

      Thank you. If I have cakes for the weekend, I usually bake them on Wednesday evening. I wrap them while they are still warm to keep them moist. I ice them on Thursday and decorate on Friday. Saturday is delivery or pick-up.

      Sometimes, I get really lazy or just don't want to. I may bake on Thursday and finish on Friday/Saturday.

      If they have flowers, I start the flowers a week before.

      Thanks. LOL. It is easy to forget. Now if I could only manage to forget, maybe I won't be so tired. :lol:

      The bird cage cake was for Saturday past.

      Getting married is a possibility..... having a baby is out of the question. :D

      For one, my kids are grown men with their own babies. They would probably have a heart attack if I said I was having anything.

      The other is that I need 2 days to recoup after my granddaughters visit overnight.

      @ everyone .... thanks. I specialized in cakes because I hated going to weddings or functions with beautiful cakes that tasted so bad I wanted to take my tongue out and wipe it on the carpet. :twisted:

      @ Arica .... if there is one flavor I hate to make, red velvet is it. Besides, sweetie, I can't ship it across the pond. :lol:

      Nesa, those are some beautiful cakes. You are very talented. :shock: No wonder you're so busy. I envy you. I'm doing good if I can do a basic 9x13 pan cake...lol
