Hello people! I'm back! I'm so sorry for not posting here as I had no internet for over two weeks. However thanks to my friend over here I found a way to keep you updated.
Let's recap before I download CAW and do the lots that need it!
So far, we have
98th Ave, 3rd Floor,
Blankwood Towers,
Darius' Penthouse,
The Foundry,
Diamond Heights,
Central Station,
Skyline Beach.
And I'm working on Kicktail Park, so I would say I'm almost done with the lots!
Welcome back!
That looks like a great spot for the subway entrance. (: Also you may want to consider adding a snowboarding half-pipe to Kicktail Park, so there's at least some functionality.
I honestly tried, but the half-pipe is too big (barely fits) and if I rotated it it wouldn't really look like in the original game... Do you think people won't mind?
Also! Do you mind if I get one of your restaurants? I'd love a Starbucks in there, since it's a big city and all
Quick update: I added ITF clothing pads to make the clothing shops at least a little functional! I just wish we could pick which outfits we want on display...
WOW this is really exceeding expectations! I'm so happy you're still doing this! Central station looks amazing! btw I think there's a way to make it so the subway cars aren't so high off the ground. I think there's a way to split level. here's a tutorial but i don't know if it would work in a basement, idk just an idea keep up the amazing work!!!
hmm, I don't think people would mind if you rotated it, but perhaps if you place the current lot on a wider or longer lot you could put the half pipe off to the side or in back and add a few extra things, like grind rails using fences or something. Also for the fountain in front of Kicktail Park you should use the Science Facility Fountain http://www.thesimalogue.com/uploads/4/4/2/1/4421597/8454953_orig.jpg just place a fountain jet in the center and it's almost a perfect match
And sure, feel free to use any of the restaurants (: If you do use Starbucks though you may want to replace the juice bar with the coffee bar from University Life, I built it before that expansion pack came out (X
Plus, LOVE the logo very awesome!
Everything about this is absolutely stunning! I have SO many memories of that game. You're really doing a masterful recreation of it; can't wait to see what you do with Neon East!
And haha, I forgot to mention it, but I already figured it out I used Raw Therapee indeed and now it works fine! However, I have problems as to how to not make it flat and boring. The original world WAS flat as it was a urban city, but I have lots that are on tunnels and other things like that which make it complicated to build on. I'd like to make it more diverse but also while keeping it true to the original one. What do you suggest?
(One lot is on top of a road for instance, it's sort of above a tunnel)
This is AMAZING. I loved this game and everything is spot on. I'd like to try and make a world to put them in. I just don't know which image stands for what place. Do you really want a large city, or rather small and compact?
Oh could you please explain me how you got the Urbz for PC?
Thank you so much for showing interest in my world, and for the magnificent Sims, too! They are amazing!
Thank you very much again!
And as for the world, I have a general outline. However I WILL let you know if I need you to do the world for me
And you need to download the PS2 Emulator, PCSX2, then use your PS2 disk and launch the disk from PCSX2. If the disk doesn't work, try to download an image file of the game.

And oh, how are the Sims going?

Unfortunately the Science Facility fountain is a tad too big as I really am remaking the lots square by square! Haha.
And done! I might also use a McDonalds maybe later if you don't mind!
And oh, thank you!
I also started the lots surrounding The Foundry:
I didn't play Urbz- didn't like the controls is all.
Your builds look great though!
......
I left a message on your page about your map. Did you get your map to work?
I found it worked if I took set it to 300 for a new map and raised the water level. I used Raw Therapee to make sure it was 16bit png.

If you didn't get it to work.... =]

Oh, good. Glad you got it working.
The pictures use the apostrophes- "width=600"
If you quote this you can see how it's set up with your pictures.
