Edit: In preview the photos looked great, but when I submitted they look terrible. I am going to try to edit by insert the width=700 as suggested earlier by Meg.
2nd Edit: Thanks for the tip Meg. The photos don't look cut off now.
Seeking more advice.
I have finished my house for Majix cove. I have tested it in Custard. There are no red highlighted lines. However, in addition to the house and the thumbmails, two patterns are listed. One is the pattern of leaves in the rug in the dining room (shown below). The other pattern is a black square. I did place a black wall behind the television in the family room. Do I have to change those two patterns or is it okay to upload the house?
Dining room – The leaf rug pattern is the one showing up in Custard.
Here are some shots of the house
The kitchen with the walk-in pantry. I just noticed that I took a picture with the floor grid lines turned on.
Living room sitting area - The container for the house plants are laundry baskets so that Sims returning from outside will not throw their outerwear on the foyer floor.
Jen, HA! Thanks but yours will blow mine away I'm sure!
Jodi,   WOW!! That is gorgeous!!!! I LOVE the pond out back and that kitchen look s so real and amazing. Great, great, spectacular job!
Also, the width thing was Jen's idea. She's the smarty pants not me.
I'll update my posts later tonight with the newest builds as I will be watching my nephew for a bit now.
Do you think I can upload with the two lines in Custard showing the patterns? The lines are not red, so does that mean they are not CC. I thought I did not pick any patterns that I downloaded from the Exchange.
Thanks for the compliments. That is high praise coming from a winner of many design contests.

Praise that is very well deserved Jodi. Your home really looks so lovely. I can't wait to get it in game.
The patterns are not CC, but they are CAP (create-A-Pattern). Some people won't download items with CAP either, but personally I don't mind. Jen's boardwalk had some CAP and it is fine for me. Guess it just depends on what you'd like to do.
- Yay, (kinda) for getting Sunset Valley Lite to work in EIG. You're half way there. Is there somewhere I can download your CAW file? Is it too big to email (see my about me)? If I have it, I can see if it's something with your CAW or mine too.
Hey Nick, I completely forgot about this until now. I have uploaded Majix Cove and its settings file to mediafire. The .world file would've been too big to send you anyway, so hopefully mediafire is okay.
I assume you need both files but am not sure if you need any others. I appreciate your continued help with this. Hopefully I can get it figured out or I may have to do a whole new Majix. :?

I will take the patterns out for the house I upload but use them in my game.
I am also ok with CAP. Most of my uploads have some CAP. They're just patterns, and have never had the issues true "CC" has. They're also easy to remove from a user's game as they have their own tab in the launcher. Up to you! (I like the rug... )
Such a beautiful home. Can't wait to dl and rec!!!
Kat: Thanks! They're the MaxiGlass French Doors from Supernatural.
Adrian: I love those greenhouse pieces too. They are my favorite EA Store items.
Jen: That room looks so nice. I love the orange, which is an acomplishment since I don't normally like that color. Also, I re-uploaded my Old Penn Plantation. It should be CC-Free now. I had to remove a CC pattern. I hate how they can sneak in so easily.
Brett: Thanks! I'm glad you'll be able to fully use the Elixir Store.
Jodi: Your house is so pretty! I love the way you used the laundry baskets to, very smart.
Meg:
- Thanks for the compliment and coding tips!
- I love you're contest entry too, especially the weathered windows.
- You're welcome. I will test out Majix Cove this weekend. Let's hope I can get it to work.
Here it is, my first upload for Majix Cove. I present to you Royale Co. Magic Emporium. This lot is listed as an Elixir Shop, but contains most of the magic items from Supernatural and the EA Store sets. It also heavily uses the Greenhouse set. There are two problems I couldn't resolve, but they shouldn't cause too much of a problem.
- There is one square of ceiling missing above the gem cutters. I tried everything to fix this, but had no luck.
- The lowest staircase of the fire escape is glitched. Sims can walk down it, but every time they try to walk up it, they will always walk up, turn around, and walk straight back down.
Nick thanks for re-uploading Old Penn, and the emporium looks wonderful! I love Royale Co., the colors, the greenhouse pieces, the building style (it almost looks like an old fire station), it is perfect! I've already updated the list. You caught me on a good day
Not sure if I asked/told you before, but I can't seem to download your Eden home. It keeps giving me an error in the launcher. Any ideas?
Thanks Nick! I think what happened is maybe I had that lot from ages ago, and the game recognized it as already installed. I don't know why it showed with a thumbnail of a cc column. I got the new version, so thanks!
About your cathedral. Love, it, first off. I LOVE the idea of a church wedding lot. But I don't know if we have a lot it would fit on. Do you think you could... maybe... someday... build another church to fit on one of the "available" lots????
Nick, the Royale Co. Magic Emporium is amazing!
As Meg said it looks like a re-purposed old building, turned into one of those magical (as opposed to "of magic"!) multi-storey, slightly stuffy, old-fashioned, and somewhat disorganised, department stores that were such fun to wander round as a kid.
Now, I am working on another pub, a proper little boozer this time, though it's taking me a while to get the layout and decor just right and as I went into town today it occurred to me that there is something missing from our new town and that it might be a little simpler to create ...
So, Meg, Jen, can I put a marker down for 70 Mirabello Road for my next Majix Cove build ... can you guess what it is
Very much at the preliminary layout stage still but I reckon it shouldn't take too long to finish. My working title for the lot is "Majix Mike's Motors"
Meg: Thanks! I think I'll re-upload my Eden lot as well. I know that one does have three CC windows, but I'll make a CC-Free version as well. I also forgot to mention that I switched the Elixir and Performance park locations (two lots to the right) when testing. I don't know if you'd want to do that in the official version, but the Elixir Shop looked very nice on the corner.
Jen: I'd love to make a new church lot. Was there a specific lot/location you had in mind?
Adrian Thanks! I've wandered around one or two of those types of stores too. They're so much fun to explore. I can't wait to see your new pub and I love your car dealership.
Nick: I think we're deleting the Performance Park. I made one at Ocean's Edge Show Park for that lot behind (in front?) of the Boardwalk. It has the performance park stage. In my game I put something else in it's place... Oh, the elixir shop! ROFL!!!!! So since that will be deleted in favor of yours anyway... Ha! I don't know how Meg will list the "official" but it's all just suggestions anyway. (I'm secretly hoping for a new version of Majix once she is able to figure out her CAW problem anyway.... shh! I don't really want her to have to do all the work but... hehe... I'd probably follow the "guide" more closely.) I'm loading into game now, I'll see where I think a church would look nice. But that'll just be mho! (my humble opinion...)
Meg: I couldn't get Majix Cove to load in my CAW, but I think it's because I also need it's Layers folder/the files within and its World.ini file. Both should be wherever your other files were. Thanks.
Nick the Royale Co. Magic Emporium is breathtaking. Those two storey windows look great in the interior shots. If I were a Sim, my mouth would drop open when I entered the factory area.
Yay more great lots to add to Majix. Think I've rec'd and downloaded them all so upto date again
With all the great houses and places to go my sims are loving living the high life and have such a varied freetime I feel jealous lol
Thanks Whiteraven. It took me a lot longer than I expected to design and prepare the lot for uploading. I may leave the building to the others now so I can go fill Majix and actually play the game.

Nick, I looked through my CAW files and all I can see are the backup files. The world.ini file should've been the first link on my last post. Was it not? And do you know where I would find the layer files?
Jodi, I LOVE it, already downloaded and rec'd it! It came out so beautiful, I love all the clean lines and the layout. Can't wait to explore it.
And I just passed 1,000 posts! Yay! I type too much apparently
Jodi YAY!!!!! Going to dl tonight! Just added Nick's shop (looks SO good in game) and  Kat's library... no idea how I missed it initially! What an oversight, my Sims were library-less!!
Here's more from my contest build, master suite is done, though I may make a few tiny decor changes:
Jen: Great. I think I will take that lot. Can I also reserve 18 Sim Lane? Thanks. I also want that shower you built now!
Jodi: Thanks! Two story windows are my favorite. They look so palatial. Also, your Carrington house looks so good. I keep thinking I'm looking at real photos.
Kim: Thanks.
Meg: Looking at my custom worlds, there are no standalone world.ini files. However, in the location you save your worlds to (my default location - C:\Users\Nick\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 Create A World Tool\UserToolData\Worlds) there should be a Majix Cove.settings file, a Majix Cove.world file, and a Majix Cove folder containing a Layers folder and a Lots folder. I already have the first two files, but I'm missing the folder. If there are no lots, there won't be a Lots sub folder, but there should be a Layers folder.
Jen: I love your zen master suite. I own the Imperial Bedroom Zen, but now, I have a definite reason to purchase the Zen Again set. I own a few pieces but I want the full effect that you are designing.
Great use of a screen to give some privacy to the toilet area. I sometimes build closets around the toilets, copying a real design I have seen. The screen is more open and airy. Thanks for another designing tip.
Your choice of colour is so warm and relaxing.
I agree with Nick and Meg, I want that shower too!
Meg: Congratulations on your 1000th post. I think it was only two DD rotations ago where we all had under 100 posts.
