I finally finished my current project, a log cabin built up by the lake with the waterfall, but it can go anywhere. I have been wanting to try this ever since IP brought us ladders and the all in one bathrooms. And I only had to tear out and remodel half of it one time to get it the way I wanted it! :)

This cabin has no modern conveniences and no electricity. It has candles and kerosene lanterns for light, books and a piano for entertainment, a veggie garden and nearby lake for food. Most of the furniture, like the cabin itself, were hand carved from local timber. And although there is a sink in the kitchen with running water, the 2 stall outhouse is, well, out back! The family that lives here just wants to get away from it all - it helps if they're outdoor loving technophobic gatherers!

Oh wow  Thank you guys  !! You all are what make it worth the building. Kat and Meg I have to give you both some credit. Kat I designed the Dry Cleaning Area based on the closet I saw you make. And Meg the one thing I liked about EA's lot was how you had changed the parking lot area around from the original ( the original makes no sense) so I incorporated it into my design. So thank you both for sharing your ideas, they help me to design better things  .

Kat: I love your cabin the outside area looks beautiful, and the inside has such a great feel to it.

Ok here's my "full" post on the beach lots!

Beach lots are up! One for behind the Boardwalk in Majix http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7534634 and one for the big beach lot at the end of the peninsula http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=7534653.

Ocean's Edge Show Park is a performance park (I deleted the EA one in my world, but you could have two!). Bathrooms, bar, dance floor, picnic area, soccer field, open area for playing catch or whatever.

Sun's Rays Pool and Beach is a swanky beach. Pretty proud of the "infinity" pool. Picnic, bars, bathrooms, massage gazebo, lounge chairs, lifeguards. My Sims had a LOT of fun here.

Jen I know I have already said it, but, I love these lots  !!

I was thinking about putting my next build, a Japanese theme fusion lounge, at 90 Mirabello Rd.. If that is okay? I Just wanted to check before I start building.

Also If it is okay? I have some other ideas for the rest of the lots on that little strip there, if no one else cares I would like to plan some other builds there, I would like to build a little strip mall at 70 Mirabello, and a local watering hole with a cowboy theme at 50 Mirabello.

Everything's okay! Anyone can claim any empty lot. Personally I love the idea of fillin up that whole strip. Go for it! You rock!

I just finished my newest build for Majix! It's an Italian old-world-rustic-meets-Irish-pub type of restaurant. I made it for a contest to win the Business as Usual Bistro so hopefully if I win ::fingers crossed:: I will be updating this with all the PC from the set when I get it. And when I do, hopefully it works. :D

    **Built for 85 Main Street

    I present Margherita's Italian Grill!

This is really nice and I hope you win the bistro set! But I really like it with the wood oven as a pizza place too!

Btw, I noticed when I clicked them that a couple of the links on the first page are broken. Since they are to your own lots, I thought you might want to fix them! :) They are Cliffside Starter and Beach Contemporary.

Phew finally finished downloading everything & looking forward to playing in the world.

Just a quick little problem the link to luvalphvle's Fabulous for families didn't work (link says its febulous for families). Got it ok from her page though.

Thanks again to everyone for all the hardwork and creative lots that have been made. :)

Newest Majix build by Simjenn ( I just noticed there is already a build on this address. When I started my build I thought I had checked and the lot was vacant...I made the side landscaping to match the lot next door, and it's on a 40x40 size. We can move mine anywhere, just let me know where and I can do it in game and republish.)

No problem it was easy enough to find as there was a link to luvalphvle studio aswell and you've done a great job creating the thread.

Off now to try and create some dive spots as I've finally watched the tutorial.

Then I'm going to have a look to see if I can improve my fishing lot so I can put it in with the great calibre of work already in the world :)

Jenn, what a lovely lot, I'm looking forward to placing it in game.
