My opinion about the game

So I liked the Sims 2 even though the first time I played it was on a ps2, soon after I got it on my laptop... it was love at first site for me... I am an addicted simmer.
I do like aspects of the game, the new kinds of overhead cabinets, the cars, the customizing of everything. and I know I haven't had time to fully explore the game quite yet, but I just want to say... I can't stand that if I don't have a good birthday party, the sims baby can't age! tell me if I'm wrong (cause I haven't tried other options quite yet) but I find this unrealistic for a group of people that wanted the game to be more realistic....
