A spawner problem: roaches at Hobart's Hideaway

Hi,
Is there anyone who can help with this?:

I have a problem with those roaches. I can't delete the spawners (I use "testingcheatsenabled", "buydebug" and MOO), so I move them above ground and make someone stomp on them, but after some days I find a new spawner with roaches underground (not at the same place as the previous one) and have to repeat the process. This goes on and on. I also have a problem with an invisible chair I can't delete. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

@Krisha880: I noticed that too. I think there are several spawners under there but only visible when the roaches are present. Another explanation would be that they get created on the fly and therefore the approach for moving doesn't work. I will need to ask some people that know more about that stuff to get an answer on this. Maybe you could open a thread in the CAW/Building forum to see if one of the builders can shed some light on this and come back to let me know. That would be great.

So the shift/Ctrl/click object delete doesn't work?
    That doesn't sound good :(
I don't have IP so can't check it out for myself.
I've notices that some of the store venues have a very large number of spawners attached.
Hopefully someone will figure it out.
Or Hogan's Hideaway is just cursed

Well those spawners are a little different in the fact they are part of the programming for that lot - so deleting the visual spawner just makes the AI produce another. it is like any of the programmed lot challenges only this one we don't get to choose whether to do them or not - we have to do them and it is part of the trailing of learning to run a resorts and problems one can encounter. I would suspect there will be every problem you can get programmed into this lot and the world itself, so you will most likely not be able to remove all that - as we play at save level - and that info is programmed into the the world itself and the OP disc. Guess you have to deal with the roaches the hard way - stomp on them until they are all gone. I am sure you will meet other challenges there as well - like bad plumbing and employees that won't work - bad ratings and stuff. But if you do the right things the AI will allow you to move along - so you can't cheat your way out of a programmed challenge most of the time. I suggest if you don't feel up to a challenge try one of the other resort lots as they won't have the heavy learning curve with the games IA working against you.

Know the old saying about you never get anything for free - well this resort and I use the term loosely - is a prime example. It is free because it is a challenge lot.

I've never seen roaches there, but I rebuilt the lot and got good maintenance workers there as soon as I got it. I would recommend getting better maintenance crews to solve the issue.

Thank you for shedding some light on this issue!

The problem was that the roaches was underground (edit 1: there was no roaches visible on the ground/above ground), so the maintenance crew could not get to the roaches unless I moved them up to the ground. This caused a lot of routing issues. My sim have successfully worked his way up to a five star resort at Hobart's Hideway (edit 2: without cheating). I have not seen roaches in a Sims week, and a lot of the routing problems seems to have gone. Does this mean that the roaches will dissapear or at least appear less frekvently when the resort is five stars?

I had roaches until I got the resort up to five stars. It may have happened at a lower star level, but that's when I noticed I wasn't getting the bad roaches review, or autonomous "stomp on roaches".

Yeah - getting it to 5 star tells the AI you have completed the challenge and it should by all rights untick the roach programming - so if you develop any more pests I would look for a source as that programming should be satisfied.

Thank you - that's great to hear! There will be less routing problems now that the roaches are gone!

    Hello,

Upkeep specialists don't do their work

I've discovered that it is best to have every one of the 3 abnormal state support specialists on a retreat, regardless of the extent of your hotel.

Resort Owner can't fix in VIP room except if checking in

One genuine blemish as a hotel proprietor it appears you don't approach the VIP rooms except if you register with it (for nothing). So in the event that you need to fix any things in there, you need to check in. Upkeep specialists don't have this issue.

    Stuck on 4.5 Star rating.

When you are stuck on the 4.5 Star rating for quite a while you can add some additional comforts to your part, see full rundown in this article. On the off chance that you have every one of them, you may need to grow your pool. The span of the pool obviously does make a difference!

    No visitors to the hotel

It takes a couple Sim days before every one of the rooms are leased on your hotel, besides that it additionally takes an appealing retreat! You will see the Sims come visit when you have a couple of conveniences.

Step by step instructions to open the retreat

Tap on your Front Desk > Resort Management > Open Resort
