I am Captain Salty Pants, scourge of the sim seas. I am looking for brave and foolhardy individuals to join me and my trusty friend Squawks McGnome as we sail towards Isla Paradiso in search for adventure and riches.

General rules
– defy these and you walk the plank!

1. Feel free to chat, but keep a civil tone.
2. Do not quote pictures as that can break the thread.
3. Pirate speak is highly appreciated.
4. This lotto is strictly for fun. Any inappropriate, rude, or harassing posts can/will get you forced down the plank.
5. Remember there are TWO separate lottos, so enter in both for a bigger chance to win!
6. Prizes may be donated if the winner wants to share.
7. If winner does not come to claim in 24 hours, random gifts will be given from that winners wish list.
8. If winner does not have a wish list and does not come to claim during this time, they will forfeit their prize and their sp will be randomly gifted to other entrants in the lotto.

This lotto is SELF NOMINATION ONLY
However, gifts can be distributed however the Winner wants. (See rules 6-8 )

How to enter:
1. You need to have an avatar that is also a sim I can download from your studio.
2. Post a download link of your avatar.
3. You can enter a maximum of 1 time.
4. Add this to your entry to make it official:

*Any sim changed during this lotto will be temporarily uploaded to my studio so that you have a chance to download the new version. When the lotto is over, the sims will be taken down.

Lotto 2 Pirate cover shot

In this lotto you are free to nominate whoever you choose. But each person can only be nominated 3 times.
Gifts can be distributed however the Winner wants. (See rules 6-8 )
**The Captain and her Bird can not be Nominated, so don't waste your nomination!

How to enter:
1. Find a romance cover featuring a pirate.
2. This cover should not have been entered by another contestant.
3. You can enter a maximum number of 3 times, each entry gives you one nomination.
4. Extra kudos if you can find one where the pirate has his shirt open but still tucked in his belt (see example)
5. Post a picture no wider than 300
6. Use this to make sure your picture won’t break the thread:

Do I have to create a new avatar for this?

You don't Have to Recreate a sim for this. All you have to do is post a link to your Avatar ^,^ (or an avatar that you don't Mind Salty giving a pirate make over to!) That said, CC will be ok since people's avatars tend to use it, though please do your best to make sure that it is -not- broken CC

If we win, we ARE allowed to give away our winnings in both lottos RIGHT?

A
Yes, as long as you come back and claim your winnings before the time is up, you get to decide what to do with the prizes. However, if you don't, I will gift at random from your WL, and if there isn't enough things (or you don't have a WL) I will gift randomly from the other people who joined either of the lotteries.

What happens if I post a book cover that was already chosen?

A
Nothing really, I would just love for you to try to find an origional one, so we who look at the thread can be amused. That said, don't post the exact same as the person before you - because then I will ask you to pick a new one. We've got to have variety, I just won't force you to look through all the pictures in the thread (unless you want to - admit you want to!).
