I knew I made a mistake somewhere, lol. I'll make a new banner soon. Yeah, Uni added a lot of stuff that makes sense, like social groups. Which means that several sims are out of your reach and not everybody is fair game anymore. I always missed that dynamic, your world expands or shrinks based on the hole you pigeon yourself in. Even though I think that the three groups are a bit too arbitrary, you'll find that according to your playstyle, your sim naturally starts to fit in a certain sub-culture. Which is pretty much what happens IRL.
Just introducing the first matriarch for the challenge. Her name is Merdakah Zolo. Merdakah is Bahassa (my first language, english is my fourth) and means 'Freedom'.
I have cherrypicked her personality, but the generations after her will be a roll of the dice.
Merdakah Zolo:
Athletic (the family trait and the only one that will always be picked);
Commitment Issues;
Diva;
Dramatic;
Rebellious.
She likes hamburgers, rock (love that station) and the color yellow. She's a libra. Her LTW is to become a superstar athlete.
Her world will be Appaloosa Plains, so that I can do some things on the side like breeding horses and have the legacy live in on a ranch.
I love the uni, it's as fun as the TS2 uni was. It took me some time to appreciate how Uni works in TS3, but now I'm down with it. So all generations will get a degree. Since in a drom you can't control the other sims present, all daughters (no boys will be born) will join the Sorority.
I'll not write a story, but will report in semi-regularly using four/five screenies at the most and a written synopsis of the most important happenings.

Sorry, I was very busy, trying to fix my game. I wanted to upload something to the exchange for a contest but it wasn't possible... So I stopped everything I was doing to fix this.
Everything is ok now and I'm coming back to my updates!!
Hope you don't mind I wont go back checking the stories right now. I very curious but if I don't go on with mine, I will loose my motivation... (remenber The Island, Vuneca?!...)
I had enough credit to take a full Schedule of classes and I almost didn't have any time off, what was just perfect.
Right on the first day, I've got a Mobile Radio Station, and I was expected to use it as well, conducting interviews, reporting on events etc. That was a really fun part, I loved it!

But almost towards the end of my time at the university, while entering an extra class, I saw a very familiar face... I almost turn back but this would made her look back... direct at me. This I wanted to avoid as much as I could.
So I entered quietly and took the furthest seat I could, as far as I could from her... Milena Shallville. She was once my best friend... or she was suppose to be. But the moment she knew I lost my fortune she turn away from me. I called her once but she wouldn't answer the telephone.

I used to participate a lot at class but that time I stayed as quiet as I could, keeping my eyes on her, preparing to hide, to be invisible in case she would look back. The last thing I wanted or needed was to be confronted with my past, specially not with her.

But I was lucky enough to get in the car of a friend. I remember getting in the car and ordering to go “NOW!” He looked at me and, without saying a word, he obeyed. I could see through the mirror her deception for not being able to reach me.
She tried to reach me a few more times but I was always able to skip her.

But although we never talked, I could hear the gossip about me. People would suddenly stop chatting when I came closer. A few people – only really a few – stopped talking to me. But I didn’t care a lot about those people. I was somehow used to it by then...

Thanks!! The face is really good. I was trying to get ideas cause things were going too boring when she made that face. I stopped everything, froze the game and edited the other one in CAS. I got so inspired.
And it was really a coincidence that both walked same way, like she was running after Loulou. After that I tried to go on with this intrigue but I never found her again and finally Loulou finished and had to go back home.
Yes, she did the degree in one shot but she has genie as a trait and she was already 6 in writing... and she really took a few potions... :oops: (happened that she had them already... hope its allowed)
It really added to the story! She really fit the look too. Did they ever actually meet? You could always bring her back to the real world to continue antagonizing her. Was she actually in that car that sped away? So much drama! She so pretty I can't wait for her to have a kid.
The only rules that really matter are the single child and going through all the jobs and life time wishes. So use all the potions you want ;-)
Talk about LOVE. Jane and Titus had lots of it. They were in their own blissful world. He hadn't popped the question but there was definitely talk of a wedding in some far off exotic locale.

"You stupid idiot! How could you leave us like that! We have 2 daughters together! You don't just walk away from that! And now you've gotten your hussy pregnant! What the hell is wrong with you?"
"You and I didn't have a relationship! You wouldn't even let me move in to be with the girls. They barely know who I am! I'm happy with Jane so you're just going to have to deal with it!"
"You don't talk to me like that!"
Jane quickly ran to a safer distance, things were getting ugly and she didn't want to get caught in the crossfire.
"You selfish wench! Get out! Get out now!"
"I'll kill you, you ********"
"Oh No! What have I done?"
"You killed him!"
"I.....I...I didn't...it just..."
"No no no no no no no no no"
"Hee hee hee! He's dead! Hahahaha!"

After knocking Vera out, Jane phoned the police for help

AHA! The evil plan has finally come to fruition. (is that how you spell it?) Joan has ruined poor Jane's life! She was finally happy and had someone who loved her, After all those horrible years living with her selfish mother. Looks like there is one small ray of hope, she won't be alone for long. I'm dying to see what type of mother she is to her little one! Will she be the same as her negligent mom? Or will she rise to the occasion, spurred on by her love for Titus? Wahhhh! The suspsense!!!

For your story... It's getting really more and more interesting. I love the way you got him killed, it's a fine way to get her raising her kid alone. But, I must say, I feel a bit sad for her... poor one! When she was finally a bit happy destiny attacks!

This looks really interesting! If I didn't already have three families I'm playing I'd probably give it a go. Since you can only have one child and you can't have a spouse, i'm guessing you skip the surround by family and gold digger LTW?

The LTWs that require other people: you can cheat (like it did, killing off Titus right away or age up and move out each child quickly). Personally, I planned on saving the surrounded by family LTW to the very end since after that it doesn't really matter anymore how many are in your household. 8)

And soon I was arriving at the university. This was the day everyone arrived. It was funny to see everyone carrying their suitcase... all full of dreams, expectations... I wondered what they were carrying!

I didn't get enough credit to rent an entire house for myself but at least I was able to have my own room at the dorm. This was great, I couldn't immagine myself sharing a room with someone I didn't know.

After one day of "meet-and-greet" orientation, at the student union, my classes began

But I noticed very soon that noone would let be interviewed by me. After thinking a lot about this, I decided to practice on my charisma.

And the best way was of course the next Mirror!

And I was able to see the results quite quickly. I made so many friends. I became so popular that people would queue to be interviewed by me.

But I wanted the best performance I could ever have and needed some help. I took at least one elixir a day... They tasted horrible but helped a lot.

Nevertheless although I tried so hard to leave classroom before she got up, she saw me. But I pretended not to be me or not to recognize her... whatever, I run away before she could come any closer.

I had only two weeks left but these where the most difficult weeks at the university.

But all this didn't keep me from passing with the best results. I went back home with my degree in Communication and I got promoted shortly afterwards!
