Breaking the Mold-a Rainbowcy-Gen 8: 8.0-8.12 finale is up 8/11/13

Hey everyone! i'm winterbaby20. Well, after reading a couple of rainbowcies i decided to try to make one of my own. My rainbowcy is slightly different because instead of naming my heir and heiress a berry name i name them a name with a meaning relating to their color and i pre-write all of my generations before getting my photos so i can post each gen chapters all at once. So i hope you enjoy my rainbowcy and comments are most welcomed.

When i finally arrived at the house promised to me by the orphanage i felt a smile spread across my face. Not only was the house beautiful on the outside but it was beautiful on the inside too. However, something was missing and that something was a garden. If i wanted to be a successful gardener and be able to pay the bills i have to have a garden.
So after digging three holes in the front yard i planted an apple, grape, and tomato plant.
After finishing up in the garden i decided to end my day with a warm bath and getting a good night sleep.
The next morning i woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.
After finishing my business in the bathroom i had some delicious bread and jam. Then i watered my plants.
Shortly after finishing taking care of my garden i heard footsteps behind me. So i swiftly dusted off my knees and turned around to see a pink berry female.
"Hello new neighbor" said the pink berry.
"Hello" i said.
"I'm Linnea Gates and 'm one of your neighbors."
"It's nice to meet you i'm Charlie Brown."
"That's a lovely name" said Linnea.
"Thank you and would you like to come inside?" i asked.
"I wish i could but i promised m husband i would cook dinner as soon as i'm done welcoming you" replied Linnea.
"Well, before you go do you know any fun places in Angel City?" i asked.
"Mick's Master Karaoke is a good place to start" she replied.
"Thank you" i said.
"Your welcome" said Linnea and she left.
After Linnea left i went in my bedroom and changed into something less plain. Then i gussy up my face to perfection. Then i hopped in a cab and headed for a Karaoke bar.
When i arrived at the bar there was only a few people there but that didn't stop me from grabbing one one of the karaoke machine's microphones and start singing.
after five songs my throat was very dry so i had a drink at the bar but i made sure i kept to a two drink rule. While sipping on my second drink i heard noises coming from upstairs. When i asked the bartender about it he told me there were games upstairs for clients to play. After finishing my second drink i headed upstairs to try my hands at dominoes. I admit when i first started playing the game i lost every hand but when closing time came about i had won four games and five hundred dollars.
Ding Dong!
"Who could be at my house this early" i mumbled as i climbed out of bed.
Ding Dong!
"I'm coming!" i yelled.
After slipping on my clothes i quickly ran to answer the door.
"Can i help you?" i asked in a slightly annoyed voice.
"Are you Charlie Brown?" asked the white berry.
"Yes i'm her" i replied.
"I'm Vanilla Gate and my wife Linnea sent me over here to give you this cook book since you are growing a garden" he said.
"Thank you and would you like to come in?" i asked.
"I wish i could but i have to get to work now" he replied.
"Well, please tell your wife i said thank you" i said.
"I will" he said and he quickly ran to his car.
Now that i was wide awake i knew i should get my day started. For breakfast i had a plate of waffles and i took care of my plants. Then i got to work on reading that cook book but by the time i got midway through the book i became tired and i decided to take a short nap.
However, my short nap turned into a long nap and by the time i woke up it was dinner time. i decided to put my new cooking skills to work and make mac and cheese. it wasn't anything fancy but it still tasted good and in my eyes that was a success.
we have sprouts! after four days of watering and sunshine my plants finally sprouted a leaf. I was so excited about the the new development in my garden i decided to call Linnea and tell her the good news.
After ringing twice a feminant voice picked up.
"Hello?"
"Is Mrs. Gate there?" i asked
"This is she."
"Mrs. Gate this is Charlie Brown" i said.
"Hello Charlie! How are you?"
"I'm good and thank you for the cook book" i replied.
"Your welcome and how's your hobby coming along?"
"Mrs. Gate i'm a gardener for a living" i replied.
"Oh. If i knew that i would have given you a garden book not a silly cook book."
"Don't worry about it. I actually learned a few recipes from the book" i said.
"That's great news."
"I know" i said.
"You know if you want to make a profit off your garden you'll need to plant more seeds."
"You're right" i said.
"Charlie i have to go somewhere but it was nice talking to you though."
"You too" i said and i hanged up.
after hanging up with Linnea i took her advice and bought nine different seeds. When i arrived home i planted and watered them.
"Grow big and strong my precious garden" i said and i went into the house for the night.
It has been five weeks since i moved into my new house and mt garden has grown a lot. However, my more mature garden came with a lot more work. Every morning i had weed, water, and talk to my plants but it was worth it to see my garden grow. Life couldn't get any better.
i was in my house watching tv when i heard noise outside. at first i ignored the noise but after hearing it the second time i decided to go outside to investigate.
I got quite a surprise when i saw a strange man in ripped clothes grabbing an apple from my tree.
"What do you think you're doing?!" i yelled.
The man jumped a little at the sound of my voice but he quickly recovered and walked up to me.
"I'm sorry for intruding on your property miss but i haven't eaten anything in three weeks" said the man.
"Who are you?" i asked.
"I'm Grane Vizcarra" he replied.
"Well, mr. Vizcarra i sense your sincerity i'll allow you into my home for a meal" i said.
"Thank you so much for your kindness" said the man and he followed me into my home.
"Mr. Vizcarra can you explained to me how you came to be on my property?" i asked.
"When was eighteen years old i was kidnapped by two cooky scientists. They told me i was chosen to be injected with lycan DNA. I fought them tooth and nail but they eventually got me strapped me down and injected. Nothing happen during the first two weeks but the the third week my sense became sharper and i became stronger. The fourth week i was transforming in out of my wolf form" he replied.
"How long did this go on?" i asked.
"eight years but i escaped a year ago" he replied.
"Well, i'm glad your safe" i said.
"Me too" said Grane.
"If you want you can sleep in the guest room" i said.
"Are you sure? i don't want to be a burden" asked Grane.
"I'm sure and you're not a burden" i replied.
"Thank you so much" he said.
"Your welcome" i said and i went to bed.
The next morning i woke up feeling great and it was all thanks to the kindness of the owner of the house.
I really wanted to show my gratitude to the owner so after changing into my newly sewn clothes i made some waffles for the owner and i.
"Miss! Breakfast is ready!" i yelled.
"Coming!" she yelled.
A few minutes later she joined me at the table.
"Morning Miss" i said.
"That makes three times you called me that. Why do you call me miss."
"I don't know name" i replied.
"My name's Charlie Brown."
"That's a pretty name" i said.
"Thank you" she said.
"If you don't mind me asking but can i know more about you?" i asked.
"As long as you are willing to tell me more about yourself" she replied.
"Of course" i said.
"My name is Charlie Brown and i'm eighteen years old. Ever since i was a baby i was raised in an orphanage. The only thing i know about my birth mom is that she was a drunk. This house was given to me by the orphanage and i'm a gardener."
"I'm Grane Vizcarra and i'm twenty-seven years old. My mother was a harlot and my dad was an alcoholic so when i turned seventeen i moved out and became a fishermen. I was doing fine until i was kidnapped."
"It seems we both overcame some tough obstacles in our life" she said.
"Yeah but i like to consider those obstacles stepping stones to get us to where we are today" i said.
"Grane i think we'll become great friends" she said.
"I think so too" i said.
During the course of a year me and Grane became closer through talking, eating, and watching movies together. i think i'm falling in love with him but i don't know if he feels the same.
"Charlie i have something for you" said Grane.
"What is it?" i asked.
"These" he replied and he handed me a bouquet of red roses.
"They're beautiful" i said as i sniffed the roses.
"They're not as beautiful as you" said Grane.
"Grane that is so sweet of you to say" i said.
"I love you" said Grane.
"Wh-wh-what did you just say?" i asked.
"I love you" replied Grane.
"I love you too" i said.
"Then will you marry me?" asked Grane as he pulled out a ring.
"Yes!" i yelled.
Once the ring was safely on my finger i jumped in Grane's arm.
"I can't wait to marry you" said Grane.
"Why wait" i said.
"Huh?" said Grane.
"Lets get married tommorow" i replied.
"That sounds like a great idea" said Grane.
Ding Dong!
"I'll get it" i said and i opened the front door.
"Hey Linnea" i said.
"Hey Charlie" said Linnea.
"What brings you by?" i asked.
"My husband got a promotion and we have to move" she replied.
"I'm gonna miss you" i said.
"I'm gonna miss you too" she said.
Honk! Honk!
"What was that?" i asked.
"My husband telling me hurry up or we'll miss our flight" she replied.
"Well, goodbye" i said.
"Goodbye" she said and she hurried to her car.
The next morning we celebrated our wedding without a hitch. we decided to forgo a wedding cake since it was just the two of us.
One thing we didn't forgo was consumating our marriage. we didn't bother with protection since we already decided we wanted a child as soon as possible.
Nine months after consumating our marriage i gave birth to our son Hershey.
The first few nights with our son was filled with feedings and diaper changing but it was all worth it to see our son grow into a giggling toddler.
"I set the foundation for our legacy now it's time for you to build the walls" i said to my little boy.
@arielle yeah he is cute.
Ditto. I started mine off with a black Berry for the same reason.
