Ok here goes what I have done to the upstairs.. Zoo mine still looks smaller than yours I must have the count of somewhere but not sure.. So here it is anyways, I'm still working out my flaws...

Yours came out really well so far!! I gave up for a bit b/c I got so frustrated with the roof lol! I then started building another home that I'm almost finished with I'm going to try doing the homework again today

Everything is looking great so far, Bree! I will make a grid for the first floor of the homework house and then you can see how yours compares. Remember that they can both be "right" as there isn't any ONE correct answer. If it works, if everything fits and you can use doors and stairs and can get to all areas of the house, I would call that a win.

Thank You Hidehi, xixeatxcrayonsx I have trouble with roofs also I wish EA, would make them better were you could lay roof and it not show on the outside of the other wall, but all in all I thought you plans was looking really well, Zoo will definitely be able to help with your roof issue.. Thank You Zoo, I'm going to add the wall and see if it all works, I will check out your plans, I may want to change mine up a bit, I think my alignment was off. I've had a busy Sunday with the hubby and family haven't had much time to work on it today but will get back with it tomorrow between house cleaning and all....

Wow, Bree, looks great! I scrubbed the diagonal hall from the Master Bedroom in my plan... it was just taking too much room for me. But you managed to fit it all in! Way to go!

Man it was hard I struggled with it for about 3hours before it fit, now I'm not sure when walls go up that it will work for sim's so it may get the big hammer.... I'm glad you stop by P-pup I've been missing you....

Hi Bree! This looks great! I had trouble with that darn diagonal hall too! :? I think I finally got it though. I'm worried my overall estimation of the room sizes might be too small. I think I'm going to put up the walls and see how everything works once I've finished visiting all the Black Cat's! See you tomorrow!

Wrath I fit with that diagonal wall for 3 hours trying to get and almost gave up, and then it popped in there, I was ready to make it square, an may still do it if the sims have trouble in that area.. My count was far off it was two small had to keep adding so I could get the diagonal in, can't wait for class today, to see how I was supposed to went.... I never was good at math....

This looks LOVELY, Bree! The only thing that made it not look like our house plans is the way you added the upper story.

If you wanted it to look like the plans, you needed to build the room that sits in the middle of the front of the second story, THEN do the main roof (the one that cuts across the house (parallel to the front and back with the ends on the sides of the house), and then build the smaller roofs (like for the garage and the room you've built on the second story and for the little room on the left of the front and the roof for the center in the back), THEN go inside the house and build the rest of the walls for the upstairs.

What you have looks great, you could argue that it looks at least as good as the house plan, but if I were you I would save the house with a new name so that I could play with it. Delete the roofing and the upper story and try the play I laid out to see if you COULD get results like the plan, even if that isn't what you decide you like for this build.

The idea is only to change a house plan because it isn't possible in Sims or because you make a conscious decision that something else would look better, not to be stuck with something else because you can't make what is in the plan.

I INTENTIONALLY didn't show you how to get that roof line because it is a challenge to figure stuff out like that on your own and practice is the only thing that makes any of us any better at that. Trust me, there has been a LOT of very bad profanity at my house some nights when I'm trying to get a build to do something that it just WON'T do.

O_O Its so pretty Bree!!! I just started working on the plan again today its been a busy week for me especially since its summer break. I've got some house cleaning tomorrow and then I'm going to go at it again. I got frustrated before and demolished the house lol. Once again great work Bree! I love how you did the interior
