Is there any way to put the male hair on female sims?
I've been trying to create a simself, but I have really short hair.
None of the short female hairstyles quite work, but a few of the male hairstyles would be perfect.
Thanks for the replies.
I don't have any mods or nonstore CC.
How would I go about getting the Master Controller?
I've heard of it, but I know next to nothing about it.

I don't know if I want to download all this.
It seems like too much work.
I know, in the past, I've downloaded a sim that came with CC.
Are there any female sims with short hair that will download into my game as well?
That way, I wouldn't have to download the Master Controller.
Short answer: EA did not build coding into the cheats to do this.
Even if you download a Sim from the Exchange with the desired hairstyle, it's unlikely to work if you don't have the setup for CC & may hurt your game.
Mods are work, but if you want more than EA provided, it's pretty much the only way to go. It took me ages to decide to install my first one & now I swear by NRaas/twallan.
If someone used the mod to put male hair on a female sim and then uploaded them... I'm not sure that would work. Be careful downloading sims off the exchange. You can get bad CC that way real easy.
I'd rather not have anything extra in my game.
Just store content.
Unfortunately, the only game/store hairs that look like how I'd want them either have hats or are only for male sims.
Why can't I have short hair without hats or headbands?
My problem has almost been solved!
The really short hair that comes with DV will be perfect!
I just need to get the sims store to work so I can get DV. Haha
You can try if you can get the desired effect with program called s3pe. With that program you can set the "casp" to be both male and female, mind however that not all accessories would look good that way as they might clip.
