Empty Lots for building

I'd like to see a way to choose an empty lot and be able to place it in the neighborhood to build a new lot to share. Having to go to only the empty lots that are placed on the hood already, well, they are already almost used up.
Either that or a neighborhood with all empty lots just for building that we could download here would be nice.

Also, the sims walk a bit robotic and stop before they do something they've been instructed to do, I know thats picky but the sims2 didn't do that.

And are we going to get some kind of tool for custom texture making sort of like homecrafter but for textures, right now all we can do is change the colors of the textures that came with the game, I thought I read we would be able to bring in our own textures.

oh and skins, theres no good way to tone a skin, all we can do is change the color choice (which is kind of cool, but not the same as shading it like we could in bodyshop.

after all the "suggestions" I have to add what I like, the trees move with the breeze, you can direct your sim to work hard or chill out at work, you can click off any want you don't like and choose the ones you do. All neat things. Thanks!
