Launcher program not responding - FIX !

I was consistantly getting the program not responding when I opened the launcher and it closing
which meant sims purchases would not install not even just bought ones and I couldnt upload either,
My laptop is a yr old and Ive had no trouble with all eps/sps and store items ( all worlds lots of big sets etc ) so I was gutted to find I could no longer obtain new items into my game via the launcher
I did a complete uninstal and re install hoping this would fix it,
I searched the forums and the net, I tried lots of things, updated origin, cleared cache, ran scans even in safe mode! but what worked was,

:arrow: :idea: I updated the pc with windows security center ran a scan and updated the drivers, added the optional updates from windows and then updated the geforce driver, and restarted the laptop. :thumbup:

I can now open the launcher download upload and PLAY the way I want to again.
