    I LOVE THIS WORLD!!!

Sorry for screaming but Cladbridge on Stowe has instantly become my new favorite world. I've been looking for a large world to play on since most of my recent favorites have been well made but small islands.

This world is incredible, it looks and makes me feel like I'm seeing something out of a British television show. My favorite place by far is the Village Hall where I've spent many days hanging out. I modified it putting in the "give presentation" board and speech podium from University so I've attended many a lecture there. Also started a band there but no gigs yet.

Another thing I did was to change the Torbay Station to a community lot. The scenery there and the awesomeness of the railway design was just too much to waste on a single family. So I changed it to a big park and hang out there.

The only criticism I can make is a small one but I do not see too many things spawning around town. I've seen some seeds but no metals or rocks. Are there spawners for this in the neighborhood? I know I can check with that aspiration reward but I haven't got it yet with any sims in this 'hood.

Also, I've experienced some lagging and a freeze but I think it could be mods that I am using. I just mention it in case someone else has also. Probably not this neighborhood but you never know. :-)

Thank you so much for this AWESOME neighborhood! Its easy to expand upon, easy to play, easy to move around in! All in all a marvelous job!

Thanks very much for the acclaim folks! I appreciate that it must take time to come and tell me specifically that you like my world so thank you :-D

yanqui9 - As far as I can tell I have put all the available spawners in Cladbridge at least once. Of course, some are very well hidden amongst fields or on lots so its just a case of looking hard ;)

If you're experiencing lag then how about trying "resetsim *" because it might be due to a stranded person stuck somewhere on the map (I know that that has disrupted my play of the world a couple of times).

This is such a picture perfect village, so lovely to see something that feels so clearly British.

It does remind me of a village more in the south, but that's not a bad thing ;) The mix of building periods of architecture I think is what makes this so perfect, the tudor influences, the thatch roof style roofline, the 'new build's' and even the little petrol station! I love it

This world is just stunning and I cant wait to play in it but I have a question

I downloaded the Bluefunk_Riverview_DistantTerrain_InGame package so I dont see the sea in the distance , do I put this in my documents/Mods/packages folder ?

And do I need the farm distant terrain package as well ?

Giving this thread a bump because it deserves it. :D

I've started work on a village of my own. It's smaller than yours, but I've taken inspiraiton from Cladbridge-on-Stowe, particularly from your superb terrain painting and landscaping. I hope you don't mind. :)

Thanks guys for the cintinued compliments!

simmese - yes, both the distant terrain files need to be downloaded for the distant terrain to work (see the modthesims page for full instructions).
