    I HOPE to have this done by the end of my summer vacation (It's possible with MUCH dedication). So from this point, I'd say about 4-5 months maybe? Don't worry about the sway yet then, but if you could work on static cactus-trees, and have them appear in CAW metadata, that'd be really good. I wouldn't need an image of them from map-view I don't think, these aren't that big. Also, I don't know much anything about meshing, but if try to have the size of these relatively small for slower machines. I believe there's also a low-res version, and a high-res version of the mesh, too.

    Okay that is plenty of time, I may know enough about animation by then to make them sway. But I am not promising that I will know how to make them sway by then.

    Taking the textures from the game is just as bad as taking the meshes, We will think of something regarding the textures, It shouldn't be hard to make replicas of them also.

    I may have a go at making fallout computers and vending machines if were successful at making the cactus, that is if nothing else takes priority.

    If you do make the computers and vending machines, Make sure they are still functional for Sim usage please.

    EDIT: Am working on the Prospector Saloon. I was able to fit in the pool table! (Pool anyone?) Problem is, I have to use move objects to place an archway, a juke box, some sitting spots, and a small coffee table. Will the ability to play pool still work with this? 'Cause I'd play a game of pool against Sunny Smiles.

    We could retexture all the current furniture to make it look worn and beat up.I have access to Photoshop. But I will focus on making the meshes for now.

    Here's the Prospector Saloon, one of the first places you'll visit. The lights do flicker.

    Here's it from another angle, You can see I started working on the inside. I don't want to show you that stuff until it's done.

    Here's it at night, with EA's horrible light rendering. Near the pole, the second floor / upper part of the front wall did not recieve light similar to the lower half, so I placed a lighttile to evenly distribute this. I saw some lighting data on the CAW files awhile back, will look into this.

    If you need any interior photos, I took pictures at every imaginable angle.
    I just didn't post them all because I took so many.

    I will get to work on the trees as soon as possible.

    For the interiors, i'm having some trouble working on corners facing the front of the area, and the rooms in the back. Also, one room in the front that's like a office of sorts, could I have some images of that please? Could you also please put a description where these rooms are? Finally, if you could get a pip-boy map of the room, that'd be really awesome! Some of the things on the inside don't seem to line up with the outside, so some fudging has to be done. I counted down the days until I'm home - 15. I should be able to run around in-game by then. Thank you for all the helpful images.

    EDIT: If you could also get some images of the General store's exterior (similar to the saloon's) then I can start working on this. For the inside, can you get a photo looking from when you enter the door, from Chet's point of view, looking in the back room, and looking from the back room on towards the other angle. (Basically seeing all the walls on the inside.)

    EDIT 2: also, If you could get a photo looking straight at both the Saloon and the store, then I could measure the distance between these, thanks!

    No problem. We should look into custom illuminated signs also.

    If you can get the signs to light show flicker and lightly illuminate the area, I'd be down for that. Especially for some of the stuff down the road in the Strip. I don't want to do a major overhaul for all the items just yet, but maybe in time we can replace some of the smaller things like chairs and such. So long as everything retains it's functionality, animations, easy-on-hardware, and sim-friendly usage, I'm okay with custom content. I'd much rather have an off-looking computer that sims can use than one that just acts like a decoration.

    That image inside the general store from higher up is VERY useful! Do you have any images of the back room for the general store? I see a refrigerator.

    Could you tell me when you don't need photos anymore, so I can take them down, so they wont clutter up the thread.

    I can get higher up photos of the saloon as well if they would be helpful, especially of that area the pool table is in.

    Once I'm able to actually roam around in-game, we won't have to use reference photos anymore, just imagine the efficiency of that! :thumbup:

    But for the time being, I'm still using a majority of the photos since I'm focusing on these two lots right now. I have the area with the pool table nicely done as it stands, but I'm having just some trouble with the interior side of the saloon facing the general store, and the backrooms and what I believe is an office of sorts. I counted four offshoot rooms in the pip-boy map, do you have any other photos of those? After these I believe these two lots should be good.

Summer is quickly approaching, and I'll only have 3 months to create this world, the world of Bright Falls, the world of mystical stuff, a ghost-town world, and update Arcadia. Not to mention write the first draft of a book I've been looong working on, get caught up on my shows, see my friends again, and SLEEP PEACEFULLY!

    Lucky Palms has desert plants like Joshua tree, cactus & yucca.

    I just checked out bright falls and it is looking great, cool theme too. :D

    I would ask you to take a look at the thread for my world, but its not in a state where I want to advertise it to much yet.

    Are they in create a world as well as in the actual game on lots?
