My game just crashed, but I grabbed a few screen shots first (and I had just saved!)

It looks like the trees in winter. My town must be in "fall" mode, because my fruit trees have bright orange leaves.

I never thought of that. I will have to check that when I get back. I will be finishing this course later this evening. As I have to run to town real quick.

Thank you Itsy for this course and thank you Zoo for bugging her about doing it!

Priscapup: Nice job on the landscaping! I need one of those arm timers when playing Sims so I don't get butt bruises from sitting too much. LOL

Thank you Aquacatt... it's supposed to keep my butt moving, it records every step I take all day long. Called UP by Jawbone.

Itsy, I loved this! Not only did I learn a bunch, but I have the cutest little house in the world to keep and use as my own! *giant hugs*

I'm here! I'm here! I know I missed the fun but hopefully I can catch up quickly. My 14 year old (homeschooled) daughter had the chance to take classes at Yale today all day long so I spent the day in New Haven with her. I am bone tired but looking forward to a nap and some serious landscaping :-)

Suepea: Hey I was a homeschooler too!! My daughter is about to graduate from college though.

Dinner time around here, but I will be back to see everyone's work later.

I used my Zoo U neighborhood, so I'm surprised it isn't eternal summer actually. :P

Suepea, I'm glad your daughter had such an opportunity.

I hope find the slideshow useful as well as the previous posts in landscaping your lot.

It has been my pleasure to assist all of you!

I didn't follow directions, so hopefully Itsy won't fail me!

I sort of fell in love with all the blue flowers available now (if you use Store stuff, too). I haven't changed the outside of the house as far as colors and siding, but it looks really different just because of the landscaping and decks.

I didn't get a photo of the full kitchen that is on the back deck, but I got photos of most of the flower beds.

One thing about adjusting all the terrain heights and making the terrain smoother, it is REALLY easy to make stairs unusable. I build with a Tester Sim on the lot (ALWAYS) and I have her check after I do any tinkering near the stairs to make sure all the sets of stairs still work going BOTH up and down.

It's a paradise of blue, Zoo!

Blue is my favorite color...are you trying to be "teacher's pet?"

Omg I actually live right down the street from new haven lol...small world :D

I popped back in to check everyone's work and, well you guys all did a great job! Some of you even put your own style into it. I'm already excited for the next course, this was a lot of fun! Thanks again to itsy for doing this course! Landscaping is one of my favorite parts of building so I'm so happy to have the opportunity to get better at it!

Love all the blue, Zoo! I'd be afraid of all the bees in that yard though. LOL!! I love that bushes and flowers are no maintenance. Remember having to hire a gardener in Sims 2 if you had more than 2 or 3 bushes. :P

Aquacatt -- I hear you. My son is a high school senior taking classes at a local community college. Kudos to you and congrats on your daughter. Homeschooling and then seeing them through college is a big achievement.

Ray -- It is a small world, isn't it? I live in Fairfield County and NH isn't too far away. I had such a fun day! I spent a lot of time in the Yale University Art Museum and then I walked around and went into a bunch of the shops. I liked the museum so much that I am planning a trip back so I can bring my daughter with me.

Ok, I think I am rested and recovered enough from my day so I can spend a quiet Sunday with my Sims.

    Later, gators!

LOL! In real life I hire a former student to do all my flowerbed/shrub maintenance. As in Sims, I want to LOOK at nice flowers, but I'm not interested in making them nice!

Ha, I also hire someone to do the flowerbeds at my house, and to mow my lawn... of which there is hardly none at all! I have stairs in my back yard leading up to the lawn, this is almost what you would call a zero-lot home... but not quite.

It's OK, from here I go to Wyoming, where I deal with 40 acres, so I get enough yard.

Zoo: I wasn't sure where to post this, but if you are looking for help with ideas for a "using CAS" course, I think I have some ideas. Let me know where to contact you for further discussion if you're interested.

Here's a couple links to stuff I've done for Build N Share contests to see how I use color and pattern:

    Lovely job everyone!

@Zoo---you once again show why you are the Professor, lol I love all the blue flowers. Lucky for me, my daughter enjoys gardening so I get the benefits and none of the work! :)

@Itsy---I had to leave abruptly the other day, (unexpected company) and I never got a chance to say thank you! So---thank you for teaching the class. It was fun! :D

    Awww! Thanks, Nirar!

I agree with everyone on what a great job Itsy did. By the way, Itsy wrote me about what a great group of students you all were and I TOTALLY concur!

I was so pleased with all your photos of your landscaping efforts!

I think I may do the next class myself, but I have promised a beach casino build for a D.N.A. customer first. I am thinking maybe a class in May on building from a floor plan.

After hearing from everyone about the three different topics I had listed, I felt that there would be support for all three classes, SO WE NEED TO DO ALL THREE! Can't let down the Zoo U alum!

I have to say, many of you don't fit "beginning" builders any longer. I am more and more impressed every time I give you guys an assignment.
