BUG - Free Play Sim's name changed. Any way to change back?

I admit it. I was trying to make my married sims into a "threesome". Mrs. Sim made friends with the neighbor and when they were best friends, she asked her friend to move in.
All well, and good, except that Ms. Sim moved in and somehow adopted the same name as the baby. Now it's a little confusing when Baby Sim and Ms. Sim are in the same house together.
Is there any way to fix Ms. Sim's name?

1) wait and see if they come out with an update with allows you to change a sim's name (which is doubtful that it will ever happen and mostly likely will not- and if so will be far, far down the road)
2) delete your sim from the town and remake them
