Will's Workshop ● NEW! Woodward ● p. 17 - FEATURED

Hello! Welcome to my showcase!

I did have some other threads originally but those became hard to organize and so, after contemplating for a little while, I decided to make a new thread. I mainly did it because all my saves were getting really cluttered and those old WIPs were just being picked up (Since I just had so much planned and didn't realize I couldn't do all of it) and dropping like flies a few days later. And also all those dropped WIPs caused many deleted photos and clutter in the other thread, so why not just start fresh.

But I'm back here, all fresh and clean, since if I'm going to be sharing my works here, it might as well be nice, right? I'd love to find some new friends here so please do post! :) Oh and if you want to PM me you can do that on my Simblr (link at my My Page) or here

UPDATE: I am now back, but while I was gone my photobucket account was mysteriously deleted so if you come across any deleted pictures, just know that's what happened

    Hi Everyone!

So, a fresh new thread! I swear this is the last time! Alright, so to get started, here's a new WIP! I've tossed my old WIPs over to another save so I can start a fresh game, and this is the first new WIP. I'll be on vacation until next thursday so I wanted to get something for you all before I leave. I'm calling it The Gables.

Hi Will! Your new thread looks really great, I planned to change mine too, but don't have the strenght to do it yet :D

Your WIP looks fantastic! I really like how you changed the landscaping! :)

The picture looks amazing, is it just the used town's lights, or you use a mod? It's so realistic!

    Have a nice vacation! :)

Imoger - You should if you feel it's necessary! I only did because I wanted to shorten my posts on the first page, as all I need are the archives and the newest upload posts. I do use a mod for my lighting, so it isn't using Starlight Shores' lighting. I can always link you the mod if you would like it.

Prisca - Thanks! I have a couple pictures, although just of the kitchen below. :D

Rose - I'm glad you like it, the landscaping wasn't too great for me before, so I'm happy with how it looks now. :)

    And some pictures:

And I've started on a small work/boathouse out back, as, since I've moved the home to a University Town homeworld version, it is now in front of a lake, and what would be better than a boathouse for the home!

Love the kitchen and the dining room. I see you have used the wall decoration from Aurora Skies set. I love that too! That garage/outhouse looks great too. :D

The kitchen looks good. The oars décor item looks good with you locating the house near a lake. Nice setting up of the bar and stools to sit /eat at in the kitchen area. The boathouse idea is great.

Thanks DH, Rose, and Yanti! ^____^

I decided to extend the home a little, but to do that I had to change the lot size, so I ended up just building it from the ground up. It is now on a 50x50 lot. Here's some photos:

I was just thinking the exact same thing as Yanti. I love those tall trees. I sort of picture this house nestled in a forrest somewhere by a lake. Very nice. Looking forward to seeing more.

Yanti - I changed the trees, but then when I saw your (and Kylie's) comment I decided to put them back. Thanks for the compliments!

Kylie - Thank you too! It's sort of by the lake, which is where I got the idea from, just wish there were more forest lake towns. :)

    Rose - Thanks Rose! :D

I have a, I guess you could say, rather large update, or more "picture heavy."

Great update! It is good seeing the layout of the outdoor parts of the build. The outdoors dining patio area is good, and the boat house attached to the garage is great. The plants for the backyard are going well. The dining area nook off the kitchen looks great, I like the shade of colour you used for the blinds there. It is all looking great! :)

Will, there is a neighborhood near me ( NW Montana) and this house looks like it is from that very neighborhood. Tall pine trees, woodsy homes, lots of spreading evergreen bushes.. You are doing a beautiful job on this. Your roofing is wonderful! And you know I likes me roofing!

The only thing that is standing out to me is the color of the chimney and the brickwork on the front stoop, and the back decking. I think something warmer, browner, more rustic would be so pretty. You have those tones already in your siding and foundation. There's an idea you might ponder. Course, I realize you may not have done them yet, and if so, my apologies for mentioning anything.

Love the angle of the dining room and the large upholstered chairs. The interiors are lovely.

But seriously, this looks just like a Montana home to me!

    WIIIIIILLLLLL!!!!!

    I had to do it!

Will that looks amazing! The landscaping looks so natural. Like it has been there for years. Love the terrain paint that you have used. That pool area and the boathouse attached to the garage looks so beautiful. Loving the living space. Looks so welcoming with the fireplace, the casually thrown cushions and the rugs. Lovely kitchen too. Love that island in the middle. :D
