Export Failed ---- HOW?

I'm at my wits' end. I have no idea of what to do next besides uninstall. I'm ready to start cussing and drop kick my laptop out the front door.

I've never had a problem uploading to the Exchange. I need to upload my Valentine gifts (6 sims) and have been trying since February 16th. I want to upload them as a household and separately.

1. I use mods and tried to upload only to get the "Export Failed" message.

2. I stopped all interactions, reset the town and removed the mods. Then tried to upload again --- same message "Export Failed".

3. Tried the cheat "testingcheatsenabled true", click on sim, edit in CAS, tried to upload --- "Export Failed".

4. Took sim to mirror, change appearance, clicked share icon --- same message "Export Failed".

5. Saved sims to bin individually. They appear in my Saved Sims folder. Tried to upload via Media Fire..... I don't think I did it right. I don't know what I'm doing.

At this point, I'm going to uninstall 70s, 80s and 90s SP because my launcher worked before then.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes these things can help:

Empty all screenshots from the Screenshots folder.
Rename the uploads. Don't have names from v. 1 in the names for example.
Lower your graphics settings.
Check your sim for bad CC using Custard.

Thanks Dawn. I will try most of these.

As for bad cc..... don't have any. Most of my stuff is from the Store.
