    Those worlds with no oceans

    Can I still enjoy this expansion if my sims lives in worlds like Lunar Lakes, Lucky Palms or custom worlds like Moonbase Charlie.

    Those worlds have no oceans. Can houseboats function in lakes and rivers? There should be some sort of portal that will transfer sims in oceanless world in an ocean.

      Any water not on a lot is the same, other than size. So if you have a small house boat, you should be able to sail it up and down the rivers and lakes.

      I wouldn't worry too much. You just won't be able to have house boats in worlds without large bodies of water. Not the end of the world. On the other hand, You should be able to have a good time resort game play even in desert worlds. In fact if you want to make a Las Vegas like style world, it would be good to have Island Paradise Installed for that reason.
