iPad Mini Sims Freeplay...Items Disappearing From Inventory

Stuff just doesn't appear in there when you select the inventory button to send something there. Also when you buy stuff from the store (design studio) it charges me and doesn't send it to your inventory.
This is a problem because a) it's irritating as heck to lose items by accident when you didn't realise it was glitched and b) it makes this task (buy a design studio from the store) impossible. I've tried reloading the game and no go. I've checked the furniture inventory in different families' houses but it's not showing up (nor is the 3* bed or 2* sofa I put in there a few days ago before I noticed this, 🐸🐸🐸🐸).It anyone else having this issue?
