Don't miss the For Rent Developer Deep Dive Stream this Friday, December 1st! We've got a watch along thread here, so come on over, neighbor!

EA, about the Time Travel EP...

PLEASE, do not make it solely about going to the future. I'd like it still, but the Time Travel EP idea mentioned in the survey where we can go to a few time periods in the past as well as the future sounds so much better. There is so much potential to this EP, please go all of the way and give us some time traveling to the past, as well!

Surely I'm not the only one here who wants this. We may disagree on exactly which past time periods, but we want to be able to go to the past as well. For me that would be the 1920s/30s and a Renaissance time period, maybe. The 1920s/30s only if we finally get a woodwind/brass instrument... Like a saxophone or trombone.

I'm kinda spamming the forums with this, but...

I kinda suspect the future theme is because it's supposed to act as a segue to Sims 4.

I hope we do get to go to the past, like they said we would in the surveys.

I would love futuretech for when I play in lunar lakes, but I really want the past too.

I forget, was sims2 and prequel to sims1, and thesims3 is a sequal to ts1, or was it the sims2 is a sequal to thesims1, and thesims3 is a prequel to thesims1.

The timeline, from past to future: Sims 3 > Sims 1 > Sims 2 > Some parts of Sims 3.

If I'm right on what I suspect, Sims 4 may come after Sims 2.

That is what I heard somwhere. Somewhere someone said TS4 would be 25 years after TS2 in the timeline.

Yes I agree, it would be great to have past too.

But I will be happy with future too. I love futuristic stuff. And this expansion is something really new and original. First expansion pack theme in TS3 that is truly original. :)
