    Monte Vista from Amazon.com - what is on that disk?

    I was about to buy Monte Vista on Amazon.com when I noticed that it's a DVD-ROM for Win/Mac.

    Does this mean the world is on the disk? What's loaded on this DVD-ROM? Has anybody purchased it already and knows one way or the other? I've heard that the DVD-ROM has Origin on it and a code to get the world off Origin, kind of like how Hidden Springs worked, and I want to be clear here: I distrust Origin and refuse to let it happen on any of my computers. So do I need to find another way to buy Monte Vista?

      The gurus have advised that it is a disc not a code.

      I've also found a little clarification, that the content's on the disk, but the CD-key goes through the Store or something. I have no clue what this means.

      Egad this is a confusing way to do things...

      If it helps, I think SimGuruSarah stated that:

      1. It will include the disk and a code in a piece of paper

      2. You have to be connected online to redeem it if using the disc or you can use the code and enter it in the site here.

      3. The disk will go through the steps and processes, including redeeming your code to make it so your "Store Account" owns the new world.

      As for other contents in the disc, that is still unclear and questionable.
