    New deadline is February 8, 2013 @ 11:59 p.m. E.S.T. for the U.S.

    This contest is for those who do not wish to build or create sims. Anyone can join.

    I've decided that since we are about to go into a new year, I would like to see what your sim(s) will wear. I am self-declared fasionista and am always interested in what other's wear and how they put an outfit together.

    This contest is for clothing. Let your imagination run wild and create the perfect outfit.

    PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU ENTER.



    DA RULES:

    1. Please provide a link to your outfit(s) and any CAP patterns used.

    2. This does not have to be a created sim, as I am not downloading them. If you wish to upload a sim you created, please feel free and put the link in your post. The sim will not increase or decrease your score.

    3. You must have at least 1 clear picture of your sim(s) in their outfit. No more than 6 pics so please link to a slideshow or album after 6 pics.[/u]

    4. ABOSULTELY NO CC CLOTHING OR PATTERNS!

    5. Get creative and have fun.

    6. If your sim is attending a themed party, please state that in your description and keep their outfit in line with the theme.

    7. Please feel free to compliment others on their pics but DO NOT COPY PICS IN YOUR RESPONSES. This is to keep the thread relatively clean and in one piece.

    8. Your sim's(s') outfit must be age and theme appropriate.

    9. Please see "SCORING" for a surprise.

    10. If you are using one pic for more than one sim, be mindful that I am looking for outfit detail.


    SCORING:

    0-10 pts for completed Entry Form
    0-10 pts for for sim(s) photos
    0-20 pts for original outfit
    0-20 pts for WOW factor of your sim's(s') outfit

    BONUS SCORING POINTS

    0-10 BONUS pts for photos of your sim(s) engaged in their activity
    0-15 BONUS pts for a back story on your sim's(s') planned activity
    0-15 BONUS pts for background decor (i.e., if your sim is having a formal party, I expect to see flowers, champagne, etc.)

    TOTAL POSSIBLE POINTS = 100.


    All good contests start with an entry form. So here goes:

    ENTRY FORM:

    1. Creator's name (must be your user name)

    2. Your sim's or sims' name(s) and age category (i.e., teen, adult, YA or elder)

    3. Description of your sim's(s') planned activity. (i.e., My sim plans to sleep away the old year.)

    4. Pictures - at least 1 per sim, no more than 6. Link to slideshow or album after 6. (see scoring for more details)

    5. Upload link to your outfit(s)



    FAQs

    1. Can I have more than one sim?
    Yes. You can have as many as you wish but you can only win with one
    sim per category

    2. If I have more than one sim, do I need separate photos?
    Not as long as all outfits can be clearly seen in one photograh

    3. How long does my back story need to be?
    There is no length. Be creative and show off.

    4. Can I use CAP patterns?
    Yes but provide a link and give credit to the creator, especially if
    it's not your own pattern.

    5. Can I use store content?
    Yes, by all means.

    6. Can I enter more than one category?
    Yes

    7. If I don't have a wl or don't want the prize for myself, can I
    gift it to someone else?
    Yes but you must post their username and a link to what you
    wish to gift them.

    Since New Year's Eve is upon us, this contest will end after the New Year.

    PRIZES!!!

    Since this contest is open to all age groups from teen to elder. That means 4 categories are open -- Teen, YA, Adult and Elder. There will be winners in each of those categories.


    1st Place - 700 sp
    2nd Place - 500 sp
    3rd Place - 300 sp

    Honorable mentions to be determined.
    You may gift your prize to anyone you choose or keep it for yourself. If you gift it away, please provide the giftee's username and link to the item you wish gifted.
