I've never been able to get one of these because it always took so long to befriend them. I'm guessing the gatherer trait makes it so when you click on the animal and select "befriend", the sim just goes over and picks them up. Yay!
I know... it's kinda silly - but I'm really excited! lol I finally get a macaw and can teach it to talk. Because hearing simlish from my sims isn't enough - I want to hear it from a bird too.
