    Hello Everyone! If you joined the <a href = "http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/600488.page#9630413">Secret Santa Gift Exchange</a> then this is very similar to that thread. Since so many people have enjoyed doing SS I thought it would be fun to do something like this for Valentine's Day! I know when I was little I loved giving my friends valentines and candy so why not do that here :mrgreen: Please read everything carefully as to make sure there is no confusion. Like I said, if you've done the Secret Santa Gift Exchange then you'll already know what to do, just some of the terminology is different.


    Explanation:
    This will be a Secret Gift Exchange for Valentines Day :mrgreen: I am taking this from the well know game of Secret Santa Gift Exchange and adapting it to the Valentine's Day holiday. Secret Santa is a “game” that some people play that involves gifting people, who do not know they are your giftee. Usually people will pick a name from a hat of some sort, and the person you pick is the person you gift. More than likely the person you picked is different from the person who picks you. It’s a secret because no one knows who will gift them until gifting day. 8) I am starting this now so we all have plenty of time to work on our gifts and decide if we want to join or not :mrgreen: Everyone is welcome!


    2i2ap8j.png This is the hardest Phase :shock: Signing up! Yes...you there with the shirt on..sign up :mrgreen:Signs up will be open from today December 18th until December 30th. Please know that this is a two way street. You cannot sign up to just get or give, you’re doing both. So if you have a million things to do and could possibly forget, someone will be left out. If you’re interested in helping me, look <a href = "http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/625266.page#9963216">Here</a&gt; Everyone needs to add me as a friend once they have signed up, this is important for phase three.


    9uat8n.png For this phase instead of writing a secret santa letter, you will write a Friendship letter :mrgreen: These letters are extremely important and let you Secret Admirer know what to make for you. Please be as detailed as possible. The friendship letter form and two examples can be found <a href = "http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/625266.page#9963209">here</a&gt; You can get creative and make a decorative letter or you can just fill out the form. Either way everything on the form needs to be in your letter some kind of way. Also letters are guidelines NOT orders. Just because it’s on the letter does not mean it has to be done without a doubt. I will be checking the letters as they come in, so if you put something like “Whatever is fine” I will ask you to amend your letter to be more personal. If you don’t like yellow say so, if you like recolors more than builds, say so. These gifts are for you, so help your Secret Admirer make them personal.

    2a0z1y.png For this phase I will be picking your Secret Admirers :mrgreen: This will take place on January 2nd I will be contacting everyone via MyPage or email [my email is in my About Me section on MyPage] Once you have your person please come back here and read their letter as this will help with phase four. Remember; do not speak of your person :shock: :lol::mrgreen:

    28ho5g5.png Making the gifts! This is the fun part. You will have about a month to create your gifts. This should be fun so please do not stress out about this. Follow your letters, but also give your person a little bit of you. No one is as original and creative as you are yourself. I will be checking on you all to see how this is going should you need some assistance. There will be two check in days so please mark them as follows

    On those days you will need to let me know how things are going with your gift and if you need any help. I will be keeping track of these check ins to make sure I hear from everyone :mrgreen:

Time to spread the love :mrgreen:Delivery Time will be from February 4th - February 18th Once you are ready to deliver your gifts you can bring them here, post pictures, links, and anything else you’d like to make your gift complete. If you have gone all out and took pictures of every single thing in site it would be best if you posted a slideshow link or linked us to another thread where your gift will be held.
