    before i played , i wanted to tested how snow worked in a CC world:

      Not only am I envious that you have Seasons and I don't, which I will have on Friday, but I so want your graphics. Even on a good day mine don't look anywhere near that.

      lol thanks.. it funny. even at them graphics. i was having trouble with seasons, but that was due to a mod i was using..

      Thanks for posting these pictures Turistas! Having an alien baby is also one of the first things I'm going to try out. :D Only one more day of waiting...

      Did you notice any differences between the weather in custom worlds and the EA worlds? I often play in custom worlds as well, so wondering whether weather is different there (certainly if the makers toyed around with sky colours/filters).

      weather works find in CC worlds.. never had any bugs with it .. the only thing is it , the weather network wont match up with your world, only matches sunset valley ;P

      it takes a Sim day or two. but then the weather really begins to show ..

      what your going to hate is how the weather stone picks and spawns where it wants ..
      i had to reload my game 5 times to get it in a spot i like.

      ..i also just had lighting .. .man did that make me jump when it was right in front of me.

      I am absolutely loving this expansion pack. My Sim, Sarrena, the one in my avatar; I made her test out the tanning booth, and she got tanned pretty badly. And now everyone that sees her, cups their mouth and like giggles at her; and I can't help but laugh so hard. It's sooo funny. I love this Sim so much, but I think I love her even more now. Lol

      Even a ghost laughed at her.

      I've barely even dived into this expansion pack, and I'm already loving it. I can't wait for Fall! 7 Sim days left. <3

      Oh, and the Plumbob facepaint is soo cute. Hehe

      @OneAdorkableGirl, i still didn't find my alien lol .. hard, cause im playing and don't have all day to look threw the telescope. .and i agree. i didn't even dive into another season eye and im loving this ..

      still raining in my game .. and i even think pixel (my daughter) umbrella got hit by lighting but i missed it ..

      cant wait to see the leaves in fall .. 13 more days for me ;P

      @Corwim will do, even got an example of how high detail rain works with cc worlds

      you can see the rain coming off the houses and the water flying up when a car is driving.. the little detail makes the most difference

      Awesome pics! I have no idea when I'll be getting Seasons, but I WANT IT NOW! :D

      This is totally off-topic and I hope you don't mind, but I'm working on a build and trying to do my first ever pond/water feature thing. Do you know what fog emitter code you used in this pic? It looks like just the angle I need! And is it on a table or something? I'm very new to building. :oops:

      I had an alien randomly pop up in front of my Sims window while they were woohooing, it was rather creepy. Other then that I haven't had any other alien encounters.
      Hope you find an alien soon. :)

      Yeah. They usually roam around at night. Then get back in their UFO and leave unless you invite them to live with you.

      the rain is horrible .. to much lol .. i finally got a sunny FRIDAY ..so they went to the festival ...(wife and kid) well my sim self was on the telescope trying to get an alien to show up.

      Love the spring pictures (finally a sunny day in your game I see :wink: )! Still no luck with the aliens? Oh, and I don't really mind the weatherstone spawning on a random spot, it's that we get it, but I don't think I'll be using it that much. Still good to hear weather works fine in CC worlds (and I'll take the weatherman report from Sunset Valley, no problem :D ), means I just have to plop down a festival lot from one of the EA worlds down there and start playing, woot! Only 22 hours to go!

      excited to hear it getting closer and closer until you get it .

      and yea, seeing an alien is really hard, and idk why ..

      about to hop back in game, but sadly it saturday, and hailing. .sunday should be sunny tho

      i got my weather settings set to 18 days for all seasons, besides spring which is 15 .

      also having issue with foodstands, nothing is showing up in them.

      Aww, Turista, sorry you still haven't seen an Alien. I think that's great that they made it like that, though. Because, I like things to happen naturally in my game.. and so if I do happen to get abducted, then maybe I'll get a chance to have an alien baby.. or to even have an alien join the family.

      They probably made it difficult for Alien sightings because some people may not ever want to deal with aliens. So, they made it harder so that Aliens wouldn't really disrupt their games. : )

      I heard at the live chat that Aliens are rare, and when they do visit, they're just collecting data, and won't ever bother your Sims if you don't talk to them, etc. I think that's pretty cool, but.. how can you not love Aliens in the Sims? ;O! Hehe.

      yea, i'm not going to cheat and level up my alien friendship .. but i do know there is 4 in my town, i checked nraas .. if only i could meet one . oh well .. im having fun without them for now ..

      sorry the screenshots seem boring.. im not one to rush into every season cause that ruins the fun ;P ...11 days left of summer! .. i got more pictures too ;)
