    CANDY CANE CABIN
Built on a 20x20 lot on Ely Court in Riverview

Sparky, one of Nicholas' elves, was so excited to leave the dormitory where he shared space with all the other elves and move into his tiny log cabin. The tiny floor plan is suited just for him and is decorated in red, white and green and is already decorated for Christmas. The stepping stones lead to the front porch with a side entrance where you're greeted by a mistletoe and a Christmas wreath on the front door. It enters into a tiny open space with a full kitchen, a little living room for watching tv and reading, a stovepipe fireplace to cozy up to and a place to eat in front of the windows. To save on space, the bedroom has a tiny "all-in-one bathroom" and a convenient screen door to access the back porch. Since the interior space is so small, Sparky had to put the Christmas tree on the back porch, but he doesn't mind because Nicholas surprised him with a heat lamp as a housewarming present, so now he can sit and enjoy the tree no matter what the temp is. A ladder leads up to an upper deck with a telescope for better views; as you can see he's already been drawing on his easel. The backyard has a pond for him to enjoy, a bbq and a horseshoe court. (Upgraded and fireproofed.)

This was built for the Build-N-Share Challenge #221, Nicholas' Tiny Problem, where we had to come up with a prototype for an individual elf home so that the elves no longer had to live in a dormitory. This was my first time entering and it was a fun little build to do.

Candy Cane Cabin is a lovely Christmas themed cabin for an elf! :) Very nice exterior design, log wood texture, roofing, candy cane windows, Christmas lights on roofing, wreath on wall, and the flowers on the edges of the pathway leading to the entrance are very pretty! Great lilypads pond! Very lovely, warm and homely festive furnishing of the interior! The red, green, white and brown colour scheme is very nice.
It is a very nice festively, homely, and warm elf cabin :)

It's been so long since I've caught up on the Builders section here. I must apologize. I was not playing much from early Summer until recently, and while I did come by the forum frequently, it was always "I'll be back in a little while and catch up" until that reached an impossible to actually catch-up level. So, it's my early New Year's resolution to spread some appreciation.

You already know how much I love your little Christmas cabin from the Build-N-Share thread, but I wanted to comment on a couple other of your recent projects. I'm not a Kardashians' fan IRL so I know little about the house, but by looking at the photos of areas of it you shared, I can see you've done a fabulous job of capturing it in Sims 3. I especially love the two "sitting areas" - the cream living room and the brown are both so beautiful and inviting. I know you must have had a blast with all those walk-in-closets.

Your Island Tropics Adventure Park is full of so much tropical awesomeness and detail. Love how colorful it is. It's all special from the entry on. My favorites include the colorful coaster and sitting areas under it, the intertwined gondola ride, the basement wild west area and that genius "underwater" bowling area and rec area (love your "water" texture, the dock look).

Baby Blue is a lovely home (and a size I like so think I'll have to make use of it sometime). Love the creams/beiges and those pretty blues. I especially love the dining room decor and the lovely living room. The pretty blue drapes and lamps, along with the cozy fireplace, are inviting me in to unwind. The master suite is quite beautiful, too, and I see it features one of your signature walk-ins.

Royal Palms Casino is another great community lot and full of more blues for me to love. Its design is just what a casino should be and it looks perfect in Lucky Palms. Some highlights for me are the indoor fountains and plantings in the lobby, restaurant area, the restrooms in that area (especially the women's, but I like the men's too - it's nice they are different from each other), the outdoor dining patios, and the striking lounge. While everyone else is gambling, I'd just be hanging out relaxing, eating, drinking, and dancing a bit in the evening, I guess. Too bad I'm not a sim. ;)

    GUMDROP COTTAGE (No CC)
20x20 lot, Hidden Grove Lane, Riverview
    12/21/19

After making my Candy Cane Cabin for the Build and Share challenge, it got me in the mood to build another Christmas themed house, so I present a cute little gumdrop themed cottage perfect for one or two sims. Has an open living area with private bedroom and separate bathroom. There's a porch in the back with more cooking options with a grill and a pizza oven.

Gumdrop Cottage is lovely! :) Very pretty and colourful exterior design! The candy windows, wall patterns,, candy trees, and candy tables either sides of front pathway are very great! Very colourfullly lovely furnishing of the interior! The coloured candy tables are great! Very nice open plan layout, and lovely fireplace sitting area for Sims to enjoy watching tv in front of the fire with the nice festive Christmas tree nearby. The green and pink colour scheme, wall pattern and gingham curtains in the bedroom are very nice. Very nice red and white floor patterning in the bathroom.

    FARMHOUSE FIRE STATION (No CC)
60x60 commercial lot built at 211 Industrial Drive in Riverview
    01/01/2020

This was a DNA request to create a fire station that was made to look like a former farmhouse, inspired by a real life farmhouse fire station from my requester, @aaron0haaron.

The entry way serves as a reception area with a living room/visitor area off to the right. Through the double doors is the rest of the house. There is a large kitchen that's open to the day room with a fireplace, and a separate dining room that also serves as their conference room. A hallway off the day room leads to the 3 offices - one for the fire chief (with private bedroom and bath and porch access) and 2 other offices that each have a bed; there is also a full bath in this area. Off the kitchen is a laundry room and a breezeway leading to the gym. Upstairs is a large bunk room with 6 beds and a sitting/reading area with a few desks. The firefighters have their own large bathroom with private shower rooms for the men and women.

The garage is now a gym and the former barn houses the fire trucks and work area, a little locker room and 1/2 bath and upstairs is a loft for the firefighters to hang out in with a gameroom and another tv area. The backyard consists of lots of trees, porches, a pond and a gazebo with a firepit.

What a wonderful Farm/Fire Station @Sandraelle! I always build fire stations too small, this looks like it would be a great home to play in. I love the game room. The bathrooms, office and all the garage decor look so realistic. The big open kitchen/family room looks great.

Farmhouse Fire Station is a very lovely firestation that reflects a farmhouse so very well! :) It is very beautifully done! The farmhouse and barn exterior designs are lovely! Very nice red and white colour scheme, and each area of the build is very detailed and furnished so well! Very lovely kitchen, living and dining area! The furnishing and layout is very great! The firefighters will enjoy relaxing there on the sofa watching tv and reading. It is a very nice place for them to cook and eat meals whilst on duty. Very nice gym area! They will like to use the fitness equipment to build skills and keep fit. It is nice that the firetrucks are in the barn. Very pretty gazebo with a firepit.
It is a very great and creatively nice farmhouse fire station :)
