22 annoying bugs. SIMGURUS PLEASE READ!

Island Paradise update didn't fix any of these problems. All hope is lost.

I love this EP! I've been waiting since Makin' Magic for this.
Anyway, I found 22 very annoying bugs (at least for me). I am hoping that this will get fixed in the upcoming patch.

1. No werewolf slider/button when you edit in CAS sim that you are already playing with. No matter what I do, I can't find it and it's disturbing for me to see how some werewolves in their werewolf form look like, and I am unable to edit that and "fix" them. So please give us an option to edit our werewolves once we are outside of creating them in CAS and let us re-edit them in game. This is the biggest problem because too many people are disappointed that we lack that option.

2. When I formed werewolf pack in Moonlight Falls, we hunted together and everything was great. When I moved to Sunset Valley and Barnacle Bay (this also happens to other towns as well) and select option to hunt, werewolves from my pack would just stand there and do nothing while only I go hunting or they go on a hunt somewhere far away my desired location, where I clicked.

3. Missing population control for zombies. I love to see occasionally zombie, but they are getting worse then celebrities and paparazzi! Why you didn't add slider/checkbox for zombies like you did for other Supernaturals? They are really annoying and I think that we deserve to disable them if we want. If I want one, I'll create it.

4. When I use reanimation ritual on tombstones, zombies just leave and I have no option to interact with them. Also, I am unable to add them to my active household even with testing cheats enabled. There is no option for that.

5. Missing clothing for werewolves while they are in werewolf form and also genetic of werewolf form seems like it's not passing on next generation (one more reason why we need edit in CAS werewolf form!).

6. When werewolf hunts, he is not hunting spawners that are placed on that lot. EA could also add an option to search for specific collectibles (for example: gold, moonstone, rainbow beetle etc.) and that would be awesome feature.

7. My permanent zombie bites other sims and they just have a cough. They are not turned as it was shown in live chat.

8. Ghosts from edit town are shown as humans. Here is example: ghh.jpg

9. When using edit in CAS cheat in game to change supernatural type for specific sim, it changes only in CAS, not in actual game (live mode).

10. When creating werewolf in CAS, my sim loses his original facial structure in werewolf form, so he ends up looking completely different. I really hate that feature, and hopefully someone will fix that.

11. I have male vampire and female werewolf. They had a child. HUMAN?!?!?!
Can someone explain to me how it's possible when it's supposedly 50-50 chance? :evil:

12. When creating werewolf from CAS you're unable to change color of his/her claws. The only way is to have hairstyle with accessory and then enter edit style and then paint color that you want your claws to be on accessory and then pull it over your claws. I really don't understand why to get so complicated when we should be able to edit it right away. Also, maybe some simmers don't wanna werewolves with claws, so we would like an option to add/remove them.

13. Form pack option for werewolves is not always available even though relationship is high enough, and that interaction is very glitchy and sometimes it's really difficult to form packs.

14. With Immortal, vampire LTR, vampires lose interaction to bite their lovers on the neck.

15. As you can see from screenshot below, it's not the full moon and not only that my werewolf lost his beautiful werewolf form that I created and got this disgusting and ugly default form that EA created, but also he can't turn into a human because it's "FULL MOON"! ***? How it's the full moon when it's new moon as you can see. I tried removing moodlet with testingcheats enabled, but it comes back!

16. When using elixir to turn any other sim into a genie, they lose their facial structure and it's being replaced with default pudding one.

17. I can't save my family of werewolves to bin when they are in their werewolf form? I don't get it why?

18. When my sim has some special seeds in his/hers inventory, mixing elixirs is not possible.

19. When receiving Oh My Ghost opportunity (in Moonlight Falls), my sim brings the urn to the science facility and restores ghost, but opportunity is still present, like he didn't restored ghost. I can do that as long as I want to, to bring many ghosts free of charge, but when I remove opportunity, I am no longer able to restore ghosts like I used to.

20. Vampire (pale skin color) that's skating on ice is actually running, not skating, therefore not improving that skill.

21. Werewolf can't impregnant woman when he's in werewolf form.

22. Unplayable werewolves stay forever in their werewolf form after one full moon or after transformation has been triggered.

This EP has the most glitches ever! And it's my favorite. :( Why they don't test things before they release them??? :evil:

Please fix this as soon as possible.

    For #1 I don't know if this is a bug because it is a sim that is already made and in play. I think it was intended to be that way. If you're not opposed to Mods, Master controller allows you to do that.

    #2 Are those werewolves still showing as being in a pack? I had the same issue but then I realized since they moved their relationship changed and I had to make them a pack again.

    1. Well, that sucks then. I am able to edit fairy wings for example, and I may get bored with current werewolf form. I hate mods, not really good experience with them.

    2. Yes, they are still in my pack, there's plumbob next to their portraits, and their relationships is good.

    3. Yeah, I know, but they should consider adding that. We don't wanna same scenario like we did with Celebrities from LN. I hated LN just because of them and I don't wanna wait so long to add that option for zombies.

    I could have swarn that I saw an option for ZOMBIES under Population Control on the mailbox. It was in all caps unlike the others. Maybe Twallan's mods added it?

    I have a situation where my Sims are in the house trying to do 'whatever' and there are 6 Zombies outside of the house all grunting and stopping my Sims from doing anything because they always want to "Zombie Attack!"

    I get the EPs because of the new content, but LOVE the option now to shut off these "supernatural" Sims... Zombies; even for me as a WALKING DEAD (original comic series, not just the TV Show) fan... are getting annoying!!!

    With all due respect - Irregardless of what the developers said in chat or elsewhere, the function needs to be added because for me? Zombies are GAME BREAKING. I can't get my Sims to do anything due to the number of Zombies that are preventing them form doing things.

    Frustrating and annoying should NEVER be part of this game!

    I have been having the same problem. I tried the mailbox cheat and it didn't work. They even spawn during the day and I'd like to see Werewolves and stuff but having to change moons cycles so I don't have to deal with zombies breaks that for me.

    Do you have any mods? some people with mods are getting non stop spawning.

    My game I only get 1-3 zombies at night when the moon is full and they leave at 6am. I do not have any issues with them.

    I agree with you guys too, While i love this ep , the zombie thing is a bit out of hand. It's okay to have a couple spawn up every now and then but it is getting way out of hand with my game. Their was like five that appeared around my house.

    I think they expect you to forgo the full moon cycle that causes Zombie spawning in the first place. I don't agree with this, but I didn't make the game and I'm not a modder so I don't know if it is possible to have a moon cycle and no zombies.

    To get rid of zombies, use testingcheatsenabled true and then click on the mail box. You will get a menu that will allow you to get rid of them

    I know what you mean about the zombie attack. One of my sims almost got outside while the yard was full of them. They haven't got into my fenced in garden yet but are still annoying and my game is really freezing up during the full moon. I was wondering if it was because of all the action on my lot. Peashooter not worth the effort. I went through three of them one night and decided a fence was cheaper in the long run. On a more possitive note, I really got a laugh out of five zombies doing the smusle on my front lawn. :lol:

    I am having the same problem with them. Good luck getting EA to patch it before Seasons comes out if ever.

    Do this you guys. Except you press Ctrl + Shift + C to bring up the cheat box, type "testingcheatsenabled true" and then SHIFT CLICK the mailbox to enable the option to get rid of the zombies.

    Doesn't matter if there's cheats or mods to "fix" the zombies. They should be controllable in the first place. They shouldn't expect Nate Raas to fix everything.

    It doesn't matter if you get rid of the zombies. They just leave and then double of the amount that just left pop up like daisies. I'm having zombie issues 24/7 and the testingcheatsenabled true, just fixes it for 10 seconds.

    This is exactly why I didn't buy Supernatural. I want the new town (it looks cool), and most the new objects, however Makin' Magic was my least favorite EP from The Sims. I suspected from the previews I saw that the designers would over do the fantasy stuff and this EP would ruin my game play. Last week I came this close *holding up two fingers 1/4 inch apart* from preordering until I read that zombies couldn't be turned off. So glad that I bought Sunlit Tides instead.

    I was having the same issue. Testingcheatsenabled and resetting did nothing. So I set the lunar cycle to first quarter and started a new game. No zombies, no werewolves in permanent dog form. Sucks I had to do this and give up the full moon, but it is better than being overrun by zombies.

    Yes it needed to be added but it wasn't and they never intended to, so why be upset that it isn't included when they TOLD you it wouldn't be included? For now all we can do is either get a mod, turn off full moons, or sit tight until the developers do something about it. IF they do something about it. "Irrigardless" is not a word btw.

    The second one is because there might not be as much spawners in the other as in moonlight falls. I noticed it came with lots of spawners in this world.

    The only bug i found so far was that my sims cant do the smustle :(
