    Promise to protect

    Does anyone know if "promise to protect" and "ask for protection" actually do anything other than give good moodlets?

    Like do you get a pop up when the person you promised to protect is in trouble?

      When I had my female sim ask her BF for protection, no zombies showed up at night. Ive only done it once. So it may have been a coincidence.

      When my sim asked her fiance to protect her, she was out gardening at 3 AM and a zombie popped up. I clicked on her and selected the option, Call protector or something similar. After you get a pop up saying that the protector is on their way. They come and well, I guess protect. The zombie was gone by the time he got there so I don't know what he would have done or not done. xD

      ooo really? I must experiment more then..

      Do they stop what they are doing to call them on the phone or is it a call out thing.

      BUMP! I need an answer for that last question as well. My sims husband asked her to protect him...but how...?
