I put a current photo of him on your thank you so you could see what he looks like now. He is a little over 3 months old and we have had him for about a month and a half now. As I post this he is curled up sleeping on my desk. I put a "bed" on the edge of my desk so he can sleep there when he wants to.

Clara you really should not have sent me such a huge gift! Next time you get the urge to gift something so big hit your own WL so your sims can have some new things too. I have to say I just love this venue and can't wait to play it. I was having some major problems with my Sims game so I have spent the last two days getting it all put back together & loading my save files. It looks like it is all working now so I will be downloading the venue & then I can play the sims for awhile. Thank you so much for the Market. The humming bird is because I think of them when I see your screen name. This is a photo I took this summer. It is not easy to get a good photo of a humming bird because they are so fast.

Thank you! I do digital scrapbooking so it just came natural to do my thank you's like a scrapbook page. These are not very complicated & don't take as long as when I am scrapbooking since it usually takes an hour or two when working with family photos & stories to go along with them. These still take time but I keep it simple or I would spend all my time making thank you's and not have any time left to play the sims There was a day when I was gifted so much it took the entire afternoon to get all the thank you's done but I figure if people are generous enough to gift me I owe them a nice thank you. My Mom always had us write thank you's after the holidays & our birthdays so for me it come natural. That said I don't get upset if I gift someone & they don't do a fancy thank you. Just knowing they got the gift & liked it is enough for me.

I have a friend who is having a baby in May and am going to sew dresses for her baby - she knows she's having a girl. I hadn't thought about a scrapbook in a long time. I think I'll have to work on one for her where she can "insert" pics on pages! Thanks for the inspiration for a project for her shower!

Thank you for the compliment. The pages here are usually ones that I just try and do quickly so they are not as fancy as when I scrapbook for real. I am sure if you make one for the baby shower it would be a great gift especially if all your friend has to do is insert the photos. I know with a new baby there is not much time to do anything more than that. If you really want some inspiration I can send you my email & you can send me yours in return. I will then send you some examples I have of baby pages I have made. I do both traditional scrapbooking & digital. I used to teach classes as well as make custom scrapbook for people. I am not saying I am great but I know when I am scrapbooking I love to see what others have done so I can get some ideas. Do you do any digital or just traditional (using real paper, stickers & so on)? I have shelves full of albums that I have made over the years.
