It will take me hours to redo Starlit Tides. Adding some bars, a small Showtime venue, remodeling, adding more houses. I think this will be one of my favorite worlds, and I think Seasons will play nicely in it also.
Well, I decided to try my hand at building...I usually NEVER build anything since I'm not that creative with it.
Anyhoo...ended up making this... I call it the Tiki Spirits Arcade and Bar. It's like an outdoor Dave & Busters tropical style
I'm sure I'll be adding to it once SN and Seasons come out. I feel like I'm gonna end up turning the outside into a more boardwalk-ey spot with the crane machine, whack a mole etc.
I can definitely see adding the snow cone machine(I already placed outdoor showers on the lot because it's right on the beach) here as well.
I of course had to add a bar. Hey...it's what I do. They never put enough night life into these places. I converted the Hideway from a hangout to a bar. It's still a work in progress.
Looks good so far. I think the main reason they put in Hangouts is so they can be converted to bars for people with Nightlife.
I really want to see some of the houses exteriors and fps. Can anyone do that?
I'm sorry, don't mean to ask to much. I would just really like to some of the more interesting buildings. I've actually picked up a few cute build techniques and ideas from the EA team. And always check out every single house/lot when I get a new hood.
LP had some of the cutest and unique builds I've seen from them yet. Like the gas station house. XD Loved that tiny little lot. Was wondering if anything they build in this world really stands out as well?

I saw that and responded. :P I don't need to see everything. Just some of the more interesting things. I'm a builder, so I like seeing new things, as in techniques and stuff. Does that make sense?
Can we give a bit of a "review"? I haven't played much yet but the first thing I tried was taking a sim to the relaxation station (think that's what it was called) and my sims ran & ran to get there and then ran & ran to get back out and to the car.
Sure the location makes it look nice but one of my pet peeves is when it takes eons for sims to get to a location. Seems to defeat the idea of relaxing when your sim will sweat to get back down to the car after a nice trip to the spa area. : )
I haven't been able to play much, but here are some screenshots of Kevin and Tiana enjoying their first day in Sunlit Tides. They started off as an engaged couple.
First they went and got jobs, and met up with each other at the Serenity Retreat. Kevin gave Tiana a romantic massage, but I forgot to take a screenshot. :oops: Next, Tiana did accupuncture on Kevin.
Then they started flirting!
The next thing ya know, they went and got married!
Kevin looked so bored! lol
Now for the ceremony...
I love it when they kiss the bride!
Then Kevin and Tiana went home and enjoyed their sauna (that I just quickly threw into a room, so it's not customized!)
They tried for a girl baby while Tiana was especially fertile. No screenshots of that because this is a family website
Tiana made some steamed veggies and ate them while Kevin got into the bath.
I really love that you can see them play with the rubber ducky! This is so nice that they use this bath in their swimwear because you can enjoy the ducky time with them and not have the massive sensor blur!!
Well, I only got to play for about 20 minutes, but I sure had fun 8) I'm looking forward to playing some more today, but first I need to build a new house
Where's that skirt from? It doesn't mention it as a store item in the download of the sim but I don't recognise it from an EP. Maybe from sweet treats or diesel as I don't have those.
Sooo jealous, this world sure is beautiful and all your pictures are fab. Love seeing everyone having fun with there new world and hoprfully one day when the "job market" picks up i may be able to enjoy it too
