Happy Forumday to me!
Yep, somehow I've managed to last this long here, and I must say I'm extremely grateful for everything I have experienced and been involved with over this past year.
I entered the forums on the 26th July and made this very humble attempt at a post. It planted the seeds for my next "big" presence just under a month later... My attempt at a magazine (which I still have the working cover for) called SimSocieties. Yep, I don't think I really knew what I was doing back then... thinking I could make an impact in just one post. People must have looked at me and thought I was a real amateur, much like I look towards some members here now who are in that position.
The next chapter in my time on the forums was probably my favourite to date, bookending my birthday in late September... (Yep, I was underage when I started - although I was ecstatic when I received my first feature for my Century Rohe Apartment the day before my 13th birthday
)
There was almost a slight lull after that. I was uploading a few lots, but I wasn't really that known. It all changed though when I joined what was to become D.N.A. ...
My first request was for will2586, a great friend and follower of mine, and it ended up as Vista Peak Lodge, the lot for which I earned my second feature. To date, it is still my most-downloaded lot, approaching almost 8000!
In the new year, I received my final two features, for The Old Cart House and Hydra's Rest, my entry into SimGuruHydra's Cottage Renovation Challenge.
Only a few weeks ago, a lovely user called 3TREES helped me gain what was to become my latest great accolade: The Master Recommendations Badge. As it stands while writing, I now have 1900 total rec's (very strangely enough) which I couldn't have reached without the help of the community.
I'd now like to write a list of people I feel I should thank for this past year:

Now, to celebrate, I'd like to give back just a small gift of appreciation.
I will be hosting a lottery that will run for 24 hours, until 12:00 PM BST, 27th July.
