Thanks for the rec' and I hope you enjoy the house! Yes, it was pretty much that - everything was just a bit of a mess. You're so kind about my builds! I'm very fond of all of them because they were fun to make; I just feel like I've got much better at the style and know more what it is I'm aiming for now.

Haha, yes, I do crazy things sometimes :-) I'm definitely taking your cemetar. It's so pretty and it's also quite remote so it 'fitting' in with surrounding builds isn't going to be an issue.

You're so sweet to be supportive! Yes, I do feel I've learned a lot, especially about rooflines and about how to landscape family homes xx

Oh sorry I was having a sleep moment! :oops:

I used cfe. I replaced the foundations with a wall of the same height. Then I 'dug out' the area underneath, lowering the floor enough to make a full height room.

The white area sloping up to the windows is actually a floor tile, transitioning from the lower floor height to the higher one.

Thanks to a new friend, I've been browsing through www.ethanallen.com. All of their fabulous paintings inspired me finally to try out aminovas's tutorial for creating custom cc-free artwork using S3PE.
