Ways to die - an RPG *Unlimited spots sounds like some sort of disease*

Just a random idea I got...
Parents in starving, desperately poor families are offered a way out at last. To sell their child(ren) for a large sum of money. And what happens to the children?
Well...
They are operated on, given a futuristic treatment that gives them 3 'lives', and then tossed into a 'habitat' where the only goal is survival. If they die, they lose a life. If they survive, they gain a life. All children with the same number of lives go into the same habitat, one appropriate for their amount of lives...there's no 'easy way'.
Of course, it isn't completely ruthless. 'Children' means under 18, but nobody under 10 can be sold. So there you have it. A battle for survival because your parents were too selfish.

Please, I know it's sad if you lose all your lives, but it gets boring if your character survives EVERY time. :roll:
If you disappear for over 2 weeks without warning, your character(s) will, ah, DIE :twisted:

At least ATTEMPT to use proper grammar - if English isn't your first language, or if you're dyslexic or something, but text speak isn't allowed. I mean seriously! And use capital letters in the right places! :XD:
The 3 lives habitat:
It's something that isn't too complicated - a forest, where a fire is beginning to spread. To survive, you must reach the furthest point from where you are, and go through your door. If you go through somebody else's door, you will instantly be thrown back into the habitat until you go through YOUR OWN DOOR. :XD:

And anyway, the habitats are virtual, but you can still die in them, if that makes sense. Plus, there isn't a victor, it's more like Roman slaves - you keep gaining or losing lives until you become too old to participate. Then, you are set free, if you don't die.)
I hope the way I explained it didn't make it sound too much like THG...
