Could Use some advice on a caw compatable computer please

kimjo313kimjo313 Posts: 3,865 Member
HI,
I have finally decided I need to have a new computer built as running a 32 bit system is not very CAW friendly, and CAW is the best part of this game. I would like some advice from of the folks here as to what I might want to purchase. So if any of you would be so kind as to tell me what you run or what you advise me to get.
Please include things like the best operating system, graphics card (I have been using Nvidia GeForce CT 440)RAM ECT.

Thank You in advance for any help you can offer!

kim :D

oh and I have all ep and sp and alot of store stuff.

Maybe Emachine brand computers with window 7 (64 bit) with maybe sometime higher than 8200 NVIDIA graphic card. They are a fairly good low price for a computer. But there are many good computer.

Pre-build, I think so. eMachines currently makes Netbooks, Desktop PCs and Notebook PCs. I have an older model desktop.

I have bought Systemax for the last 15 years. They have great support, no extra cra-stuff (as in unwanted programs and fluff). The last two computers have been buildyour own. You pick what you want building it to the specs you need. Prices are great!!
    Check out Tigerdirect.com.
Docsprock's spec are perfect. Only difference is I have the i3 cpu will upgrade eventually tho!! :)

    Hope this helps...
